I just spotted this location a couple of weeks ago, so I had to try it out because I love grilled Mexican chicken. The chicken is tasty and Tykewife and Tykeson1 liked their more traditional Mexican food. Some problems - 1) There is no lit sign at night. I checked its location during the day. Good thing since went by twice without seeing the dark building.2) Poor parking3) No busing of tables. There were 4-5 tables that were not bussed during the entire time we were there.4) I thought I ordered the 1/2 chicken. It was a leg and a breast which was cut into 4 pieces.5) Beans were a little watery. This is the style of beans made by people from the Mexico region that came to Greeley. Different from what we were used to in Arizona.6) Service a little slow7) No soap in restroom8) Tortillas were corn. I prefer flour9) Moderate language trouble ordering10) Chicken more expensive than comparable grilled chicken restaurants such as Pollo Loco

Don Juan Mexican restaurant, my husband, family and friends have eaten there many times and find the food to be excellent, staff is friendly and actually has time to visit with us. Service is speedy, meals are delivered with above most care. This year I had my birthday celebration enjoying with friends a spur of the moment get together. Staff brought out a huge ice cream sundae which we all shared...yum!If we decide not to have a sit down meal, but call for a take out order, it is ready within 15-20 minutes.Yes, I would recommend Don Juan's!
My first time being here, luckily I had someone with me who knew what to get. But it was so good!! Definitely can't wait to go back!
Tacos and Tortas are very good. The place its kind of small but I usually order TO GO. have not tried any other of their dishes but I am sure they're also delicious.
This is a very Nice location. I had dinner here before going to the Greeley stampede. Service was outstanding. The Restaurant was very clean. The Food was delicious, fresh and hot. This appears to be a newer location, if not, then it's been remodeled recently because it was very nice inside! Highly recommend this location!
Good service with a pleasant atmosphere. Typical Mexican menu with plenty of choices. Was somewhat disappointed if the taste of the food. Not the usual spicy dishes we enjoy at other similar places. Food was bland and tasteless. Should have been better.

Tasty Mexican food with very friendly service! This restaurant is tucked away from main street, located inside an old historic brick building. On the inside the atmosphere was spacious, relaxed, and clean. Service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. The salsa was spicy and flavorful, the chimichanga and green chili was soooo good, and the dessert sopapilla was light and tasty. We definitely will be back!

Great breakfast burritos hand held or smothered and a nice variety of choices. Their habanero sauce is incredible. No indoor seating but a great place to get food to go. There are tables outside. We will revisit whenever we are in the area.

Stopped in for lunch. Asked a stranger in town for a good Mexican restaurant close by. She told us about Rancho Alegre. They offer a huge menu. Enjoyed a wonderful bean and cheese burrito with very tasty green chili. My friend had a cheese enchillada and a tostada that she said tasted very good. Only down side was the guacamole. It was very watery, a strange green color and almost no flavor. Food was brought to the table very quickly and it was very good.

We invite you to indulge your senses with some of the best, fresh from scratch authentic and healthy Mexican food that northern Colorado has to offer.
I've eaten at three of the owners' restaurants now, and each has been disappointing in its own right. The Evans Palomino was the worst...poorly run, poorly executed, and considering the pricing (most expensive "Mexican" in Greeley) a place I would not recommend. we visited on a quiet Sunday evening. 6 tables in our dining room went uncleared for 30 minutes. Servers were not busy and hid in the back most of the time. We were not approached for 7 minutes after being seated by a dull hostess with no personality...no hello, no server making eye contact; nothing. Food was okay - just. My wife's seafood dish was a pile of glop, promising shrimp, crab, and lobster. No lobster in evidence, a few wisps of crab, ton's of smelly salad shrimp. I do not blame the staff...I blame the owners - they must not hire competent Managers who understand hospitality. The staff was certainly not trained properly, there was no management in evidence, and sitting in a room full of dirty tables sucked. I don't care if it was Sunday evening, your guests deserve a meal consistent with a $40 dinner bill.
