Things to do in Eagle Pass
The food was good. We had the la paquette parrilla. Which is grille chicken fajita, beef fajita and sausage. The meat was well seasoned a few of the beef fajitas were tough and chewy, sausage was cheap more like hot dog but didn't get that much. It said this was enough for 3 people but it was enough for just us 2. It came with borracho beans and mexican rice which were the best. It was a little hot in there but it was 108 outside that day. There's loud music playing outside and the parking isn't that big also there is a bar inside. We had Mexican coke and home made limeade. Our wait staff was friendly and served us promptly. We will probably come back and try something else off the menu.
Discovered this little taco stand while passing through Eagle Pass, TX in 2005. and was amazed by the food and the price. My wife got to try Super Taco Morales a few years later and loves it also. The signature "Super Taco" is our favorite with both beef fajita and marinated chicken topped with queso and just the right spices on a homemade flour tortilla -- a big taco for under $2. Their basic tacos with one meat (beef or chicken) are great also and even cheaper. Make sure to request their family recipe pico de gallo and red salsa on the side, since both are uniquely flavorful and make the wonderful tacos even better. Charro beans (get the large container) make the ideal side dish. With all that spicy stuff I recommend the large (32 oz.) fresh-squeezed, Mexican-style lemonade. We seldom go through Eagle Pass without stopping at Super Taco Morales. A family of 4 can eat like reyes (kings) for well under $20. It's carryout only so you'll have to eat in the car, have a picnic in one of the nearby parks or take your tacos home.

Generally Chiliâs is not where I go to eat but my partner wanted it so we went. Thumbs up to excellent customer service and the best veggie black bean burger Iâve had in a long time.
We found this place while kicking around the internet looking for things to see and do in Eagle Pass. It appears to be a long established tortilla factory, extremely clean with abundant tortillas of different types (corn, both yellow and red, small and regular size, flour, both white and whole wheat). As soon as you pull up to the curb youâre hit with the unmistakable aroma of masa that has been transformed into fragrant and delicate tortillas. We purchased a bundle of 20 fresh, hot corn tortillas for $1.50. The package did not survive intact, as we pulled away from the curb and tore into it...pure comfort!

this place always seems to give good svc for a fast food place , The staff here always seems to be on top of their orders . too many times at other fast food places they just shove food around, these guys seem to treat you better than . that
open early and late, tacos morales is always on my must stop list every time i go through eagle pass, which is 2 to 3 times a year. the food is really tasty, and its not a budget killer. plate combos or just tacos alone.... i highly reccommend either.
The cheerful ambiance and welcoming atmosphere of Gaona's combines with the good food to give one an experience of hanging out at Abuela's house for the afternoon! Excellent chips and tangy salsas set the stage for some authentic Mexican delicacies. This is not fast food, so there is plenty of time to visit while awaiting the delicious food. Don't let the location, tucked in behind a car lot, deter you from giving it a try. Gaona's is the real deal.

We went to an award banquet and the food was horrible so none of us ate from our group. We decided to go eat afterwards and went with yopo's. Yopo's turned out to be pretty good.
This is a small, family-owned business that is literally a block or two from the Mexican border. It is one of those places that is fun to visit that you would never find unless you talked to a local. The phone number is 830-757-2260.
Border Burger is a small, family owned business in downtown Eagle Pass that is located about two blocks from the Mexican border. It is housed in a small, unobtrusive building (the street number is not posted on the building) and is located between two equally unobtrusive buildings on busy East Garrison Street. The small eating area inside is plain and so-so clean (try not to stare at the ceiling fan); it is a "bus-your-own table" establishment. Be forewarned- if you are at all concerned about the fat and calorie content of your meal, this is not the place for you! The menu consisits of burgers, tacos, one type of burrito, as well as sides such as French fries, nacho chips and onion rings- smothered in cheese, if you wish. They serve sweet-but-tart lemonade (in addition to sodas), which compliments the food nicely. My favorite item is the red taco (3 for $2; 3 for $1.87 without the artificial color); I like them soft, but observed that many other patrons order these yummy corn tacos fried. The most expensive item on the menu is the jalapeno burger, at $3.89. You may have to wait a few minutes for your meal, as the food is prepared to order. Border Burger has a brisk drive-thru business, so be careful as you approach and leave the property. There is no parking on the premises, but street parking is not a problem. I recommend this place for a tasty, albeit high calorie, lunch in a no-frills place frequented by locals.

Wasnât expecting to have such a disappointing experience. To start off with and sadly to end with the service was horrible. The chips were the worst stale chips I have actually ever had, even my business partner commented how stale they were. Couldnât eat them, asked for a fresh batch and they came quick with another stale batch. The margaritas, would not recommend, definitely not worth the $6. The meal itself was not hot, the enchiladas pictured was flavorful just not hot. Unfortunately, will try a different brand location next time.
