We went here in a group of eleven for dinner, with a reservation, on a Friday early evening. There were plenty of customers, but by no means a full house. As visiting New Mexicans, we found the food true to type, well-prepared, tasty and delivered hot to the table. My wife's fajitas were properly sizzling, and her margarita properly cold and alcoholic. My broiled halibut was exactly the right degree of done, and the accompanying rice and beans were toothy and tasty.

For about a year we went here every Wednesday night. We loved the margaritas here! They are fabulous. The service is not great so you have to look past that. Continually we would feel rushed out of there. However, on most occasions the food was really fantastic. But now we saw the food scores going down! They keep having issues with food being stored at proper temperatures so we have stopped eating here.

The food and service is excellent and never fails to deliver. I eat there every chance I get. Acapulco cheese steak is great, but the pork 'burrito' dish, I forget the name, is unbelievable.

The standard Mexican fare is good--tacos, enchiladas, burrito, etc. but there's something about their fajitas that sets La Salsa apart. Love the seasoning. Love the thin strips of beef that get nice and crispy.

Stopped at this gem of an authentic Mexican place on our way home while traveling. We had several different varieties of the street tacos which were absolutely delicious. They had a buffet set out that had barbecued shrimp and crawfish! Due to us being on a time limit we had to get it to go and I was sorely disappointed that we could not partake of the buffet. We will definitely stop by when we have more time later. There is also an adjoining grocery store for some great little finds.

A bit hidden off the main road, but El Tio serves up some good Carnitas. The dinner, $10.50, consists of roasted pork served with rice, beans, guacamole salad and tortillas. Good stuff here with great flavor. Salsa was pretty good. Had a couple bottles of Dox Equis amber with it at $3.75 each. Total was $19.08 tax included.Nice decor and great service.

This has become our regular Friday night dining spot.Food is good, consistent, portions are large. Staff is friendly and recognize their regular customers. Why only 3 stars - inconsistent health score ratings - a recurring cycle of acceptable scores interrupted by unacceptable low scores - noticed low score on the way out last night - scores need to be consistently high showing attention to detail.

If this restaurant knows how to cook something inedible, I have failed to find it. Everything is great. Tuesdays when the Mariachi Band is there is crowded but a place not to be missed if you enjoy living live.

Tried this restaurant because we needed a drink after work. The flavored frozen margaritas were pretty good. The food was okay. The salsa had a funny aftertaste. I ordered a burrito. It was okay. The beef/beans kinda looked and tasted processed. Not in a hurry to go back, but if I do I'll definitely try something else. If all else fails, MARGARITAS!!!!
