Things to do in Crossville
We stopped here for lunch. It was an average Taco Bell. The restaurant did appear to be clean and the staff was courteous and efficient. The air-conditioning was set very cold and we hurried through our food so we could leave and get warm again. There were no negatives other than the extremely cold temperature and nothing outstanding. If you like Taco Bell, you'll like eating here, just bring a jacket.
There are several good Mexican restaurants in Crossville. But Romos has lunch deals and weekly deals that cannot be beat in portion or price. I can order a taco, chili relleno, and guac salad for 5.99 during their lunch service. Recently the daily special was $1 enchiladas! They are the only restaurant to serve slices of fried jalapenos as a side for $1.50 and you literally get a plateful. They are crispy around the edges and so yummy with your meal. Service is great and itâs ambiance is perfect!

My wife and I stopped by "The Place" for lunch today. "The Place" just opened here off Peavine Road in Crossville, Tennessee. We each ordered the pulled pork sandwich because of the heavenly aroma that greeted us when we walked through the door.The juicy generous portion of pulled pork was served piled high on a fresh sesame seed bun. While the pork and bun were both very good, and the cole slaw was outstanding, it was the homemade sauce that made our lunch memorable - - a tangy tomato type, spicy but not hot, with tiny pieces of onion. Quite possibly the best sauce I've had in many, many years. We had a nice conversation with Ross, the owner, who also has a bakery there. He gave each of us a free cinnamon bun as a thank you for coming by. All this for ten bucks! The cinnamon buns weren't as big as the ones you'll find at the Cinnabon store at the mall, but the taste was every bit as good. We hope Ross will do well in his new business here - - we'll be repeat customers as well as anyone else who comes to "The Place".;

We were in Crossville to see production at their theater and decided to have lunch prior to seeing Mama Mia. We read reviews on Trip Advisor and chose LaCosta. It is located in small mall and near resorts. We had chicken and steak fajitas and they were the best! Even their refried beans were delicious. Our server was so friendly, we felt we had a new friend when we left. It was well worth time to find the restaurant. If you are in Crossville, like Mexican food, and want to try a wonderful restaurant, then LaCosta is a must!!

I just visited this restaurant and I was very impress with the quality of the customer service provided and the taste of their food. The waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable about their food and he really cared to provide what I wanted. Even after providing the food (very promptly), he was interested to know if I liked the food. I ordered the burrito al carbon and it was exquisite. Great place and I will tell my friends about this new Gem that I found. Keep up with the good work!!!

My husband and I went in for lunch. We were seated right away and our sever was prompt and friendly. He answered our questions regarding certain dishes, and directed us to a place on the menu that gave us more explanation. The restaurant is rather small but quaint, and there were not many customers at 1:30 in the afternoon. My margarita was very good, as was the food - more traditional Mexican than spicy. Nice change.

We stopped for lunch. Server seemed rather uninterested. Chips were a bit stale, one sauce was watery without much in it, the bean sauce had a little bit of cheese. We ordered the same thing, one burrito, one enchilada with sour cream. I learned the difference between the burrito and the enchilada was one has a corn tortilla, the other a flour. But it was served with lots of shredded lettuce! The margarita was not something I would order again. Iâm told that authentic Mexican food is not spicy - this was therefore, authentic, not spicy and not much flavor either.

This was our second visit to Lacosta. Food was as delicious as I had remembered. The beer was cold and tasted great. The bean/queso dip was fantastic.Prices are reasonable and the service is so very friendly.

I've stopped for, both to-go and dine-in times. For dine-in, the place is suitable for singles, couples and families. If you're inclined, the adult beverage selection is quite adequate. ..my personal favorites are the margaritas. The complimentary chips and salsa are tasty and I usually upgrade with a bowl of white cheese sauce. Too many entrees to list that I like and large servings! I've also been continually pleased with the meals I've gotten to-go.

We ate here before a play at the Cumberland County Playhouse.We had not planned to eat here but were unable to get reservations elsewhere.Yes, Mexican is Mexican; but our food was flavorful and the portions were very large.We tried the chimichangas which were excellent.We also tried some of the house specialties and were not disappointed.the margaritas and sangria were noteworthy.It was fun, relaxed and good food to boot!
