This is a neighborhood Mexican restaurant. The service is quick and friendly. The food for the most part is good. Not great, but good for the price. The fajitas are always good. And, the top shelf margaritas are very good! This may sound odd, but they really need to replace the silverware. The silverware is very cheap and lightweight.
Authentic Mexican food cooked and served by authentic Mexicans! There are several El Maguey locations in this area, and they are always my first choice. April 2019 was my first eating at this specific location. The food always comes hot and quick. The service was excellent, and this location has better decor than some of the others. The thing that is nice is that their standards are reliable and consistent. The only negative thing I have to say is they may have changed brands of chips as these were thicker and harder to chew. I prefer the thin chips. El Maguey will always continue to be my first choice in Mexican restaurants in this area!

Moe's Southwest Grill is fresh Mexican food that is fresh and made to order. They do a good job keeping the food prep area free and contamination free. I have an onion sensitivity so I watch them prepare what I order very closely so no cross contamination happens. The staff is friendly and the food is always delicious.

We have several very good Mexican restaurants in the area but this is our go to Mexican restaurant. Very authentic food in a very pleasant setting. Plates are plentiful and service is excellent. If you are searching for a good Mexican restaurant make sure you visit here. I recommend this restaurant.

The food here isn't exactly authentic Mexican, but it is quite good and won't break the bank. The service is friendly and attentive, the margaritas are very good and strong. They have dirt cheap lunch specials; my favorite is the Chicken Quesadilla. I recommend trying a bowl of their cheese dip with your complimentary chips. The salsa isn't spicy whatsoever but has a pleasant taste. I don't recommend anything with ground beef in it from here, but the steak, chicken and shrimp entrees are all very good.

I don't understand why, but they've never been crowded when I've gone there. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is comfortable. I've only been there for lunch, so I'm guessing more folks go there at night.
So if you want heat, bold, and authentic Mexican style food with lots of choices, keep looking elsewhere. While the chips were warm to hot to the touch and really good, they only have one salsa currently but most homemade salsas (especially ours) are better. No amount of Cholula can help the sweetness, and while ok, not anything to write home about. The guacamole and salsa Verde on the other hand was better than expected and rather tasty. The Chicken Nachos were delicious with lightly blackened and house made pico.Fish, Shrimp, and Chicken tacos were very good (no bites left!) and the sides, while limited choice were mostly well received. The fresh veggies, cilantro rice, and refried beans sides were the second best surprise. So if you or someone in your dinner party has trouble with 2, 4, or 8 page menus, this is a good choice: a few crafted fajitas, about 10-12 custom tacos, a few burritos and a small handful of sides fill this one page, laminated, placemat-like, easy to read menu. All in all, each menu item is carefully crafted and each seem to be worth a try. We will be back but this is definitely a limited menu version of Chevy's, not a full blown Mexican food selection restaurant, but they aren't trying to be.We just hope they listen to customer feedback and provide another option to their table salsa for those of us that like more heat, than sweet.

You could easily drive past Rosies Cakes and Pacos Tacos but you would be missing out on some good Mexican food. It's definitely a place to try out. The place is clean, the food is wonderful, the staff is very friendly and the service is great.
