This restaurant was recommended by my son's girlfriend when we visited Corpus Christi. We had a great server that was attentive. We each ordered different dishes and several at the table ordered Margaritas. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. I would say the food was typical Mexican fare.

A bit run down in a city neighborhood serving authentic Mexican seafood cuisine. Prices were moderate, service ok but nothing special. Cleanliness was questionable. Menu does not include margaritas and there is no WiFi.

Want a fantastic breakfast taco (most) for under $2 that's fresh, flavorful, and filling---then here's your place! The restaurant, minutes from the Naval air base, not surprisingly was packed with locals and naval pilots on our visit. We're told that's the norm, and we can see why! One taco was filling, with two we're stuffed and happy! What a great find, not too far off the main highway.

I wanted to say it was all very good b/c the food was still good. But when no one visits your table for over 10 minutes and we have to ask for help then no one brings us water until we ask and after 20 minutes in, we are a little upset. Refills and other requests were also slow or forgotten. The waitress was super nice, but that does not count for bad service. Food was luckily served correctly and hot but we were full from chips, salsa and margaritas after sitting there for over 45 minutes before our food came. I will be back, but will likely not go to the Corpus location when we are visiting my daughter at school. Oh and the restroom bathroom sinks were not working, we find out on our way out. Makes you feel good about servers washing their hands.

I have heard about this place for over 30 years and finally went. Our waitress Maria was cordial, but overwhelmed. It is Mwxican food, but they have no chips,no salsa and no tortas. The entire table behind us(5 people)left after asking for those items. They also have no home made corn tortillas.WWe ordered the "special of the day"which was picadillo(sometimes called picado in other countries)which usually consists of cooked ground beef in a sauce with vegetables like potatoes, beans, green beans,corn,carrots,etc..This was ,by far,the poorest excuse for "picadillo"I have ever seen.It was 98% cubed potatoes(we are diabetics)with a side of rice(no veggies there either)and charro beans. The beans were the best part, but all 3 items on the plate were starches. That does not count the tortillas. Here we are, with 4 starches and diabetes waiting for our sugar to hit the stratosphere. Now I know why I waited over 30 years. We won't be going back. The owner/manager at the reister had a "too bad"attitude. On top of that, all of these items are already made, only requiring a spoon to put on a plate. The place was about half empty and it still took over 30 minutes to get our food that was ready when we ordered it.Go somewhere else!

Best seafood enchiladas ANYWHERE! Great price (~$14 ) for two huge enchiladas packed with shrimp, scallops, and crab in a wonderful sauce. I have had seafood enchiladas in many cities around Texas - these are by far the best! Other items, including beef fajitas are good also. Margaritas are very good.

A group of us met at Kiko's earlier this week and had a very good lunch. It is a large place, and the parking lot was crowded, but they were able to seat us immediately. The complimentary salsa had a nice kick to it, and the complimentary chips were very light. We ordered their Fried Mushrooms as an appetizer for the table, and trust me, this is not an appetizer you want to order for yourself! The serving is absolutely huge - more than the six of us could eat!!All but one in our group were from Texas, and everyone thought their meal was very good. I had their Three Beef Enchiladas and was impressed by the flavor as well as their meatiness. All in all, we had a very good lunch at Kiko's. Give them a try!!We're glad you enjoyed your afternoon out with us. It sounds like both the fried mushrooms and beef enchiladas were real hits! Thank you all for joining us for lunch -- we hope everyone meets up here again soon. All the best,Marcus, Owner

Late Dinner. The Margaritas come in Large and Small. They never asked which we wanted. The small one is small and weak. The noise level is very high. Did not like the lights above the fans creating a strobe effect. Liked the Fajitas. The servings of rice and beans were small. The chicken chalupa had lots of chicken on it. The chicken enchilada was ok, chicken and cheese, no sauce. Tortillas were good.

Husband and I stopped in for a late Monday morning breakfast. Homemade tortillas, friendly and attentive staff and good cup of coffee. I had El Potro omelette, which was huge and overstuffed. Only finished about half of it. My husband had the barbacoa and absolutely loved it. Tender, flavorful, not greasy or fatty. The ranchero salsa was warm and flavorful, not just tomato-y. Food came within minutes of placing our order. Conveniently right off the highway.

The serves are great, considerate and polite. Even though on the cover of the menu it says âAuthentic Mexican foodâ, it is more Tex-mex.Outside the restaurant, there is a sign written âdonât disturb my plantsâ. For a professional restaurant, this is not necessary to have ... it sounds rude... nobody goes to a restaurant to touch otherâs outside plants. There are more important things to do than touch plant in restaurants. It could be more clean. The time spent by the owner to write signs to not touch his plants, could be better used to keep his restaurant cleaner.
