Met friends for happy hour only to find out that it doesn't really exist. The 22 ounce margarita is only $5.99. Not strong, but tasty. I had mixed fajitas. Very good flavor and large quantity. My friend had grilled chicken with a cheese sauce that looked good, and the other had a burrito plate. Both were satisfied with their meals. The chips and salsa were ok. The server didn't know what I was asking for when I asked for the chili powder sprinkle for the chips ( which are very bland and had to be sent back for warm chips). I guess chili powder sprinkle is not a thing in Cartersville.

We visited Tarasco's because we were staying at the hotel next door, and liked the idea of simply walking across the parking lot for dinner. We were greeted by "Elizabeth", who seated us in a timely manner and took our drink orders. My wife thought her margarita, served in a mason jar, was excellent, and my liter of domestic draft beer was both cold and inexpensive. We selected their "house specialty" , called "Molcajete" for two people. Molcajete is a LOT of grilled food that's served in a large bowl of lava rack that's heated so your food stays hot. Our lava rock bowl contained grilled steak, chicken, shrimp, leeks, onions, poblano peppers, green bell peppers, green onions, and carnitas (marinated and grilled pork tips), PLUS each diner also got a large plate with re-fried beans, shredded lettuce, guacamole, sour cream and tortillas. The food was delicious, and our server was exceptional.
Just your average Mexican food. Went there on a Sunday evening with family and friends. Nothing fancy but the food is good. I had the nacho plate and it was loaded with everything.

We were amazed by the incredible glass lighting throughout the building. Someone spotted a bargain somewhere and made it into a very special look. Easily the nicest Mexican restaurant we've ever tried (and I eat Mexican 2-3 times a week. The food choices were top shelf, and reasonable priced. The house margarita was excellent as well.

Many people seem to like this place but not me. Been here once tried it and didn't like it. It is as it says though fast, friendly and inexpensive. The place is rundown and very outdated. Had the combination burrito with beans and rice. Was not to my liking. My sister had the Sancho grande. She loved it. So in the spirit of being fair I will rate this food average.

Great service and good, fresh food. Tacos and nachos are awesome. Try a Charolita!!We prefer over Moeâs and Chipotle. Sauces are tasty. If you need something, just ask the staff. Also does catering and group events!

Family owned, specializing in authentic Salvadorian in addition to Mexican food. Each Salvadorian dish closely follows family recipes.
Was looking for something different in Cartersville, had noticed this place a while ago, but forgotten. Saw the reviews and decided to try it out. The menu pictures looked intriguing. We arrived around 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon for a very late lunch/very early dinner. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. A server brought some chips and salsa, and the salsa was very fresh and delicious. We decided to start with some cheese dip. This arrived very quickly. The flavor was good, though it was probably the thinnest cheese dip weâve ever had. Was about the consistency of milk. We both ordered a Peruvian dish with beef, onions, French fries and tomatoes combined and served with a large helping of rice. The flavor was ok, nothing special. Throughout the meal we could not help but notice the selection of music was a bit odd for a restaurant, especially a Salvadoran/Mexican restaurant. It was some type of contemporary Christian/Christian rock. The servers were laying down in a booth on their cell phones, which also seemed to be odd behavior in the dining room of a restaurant.

The restaurant was busy but they were able to accommodate our group of 20. Our two servers, both named Alex were great. They took our orders correctly and were very attentive to our drink refills. Food came out quickly and tasted good.

We are the best Mexican Restaurant in town! We have been in business for 13 years strong. We offer you and your guests delicious food and excellent services. Our dishes are prepared in the true Mexican manner. Yes We Cater!
Have been a customer for years, as far back as when they opened at the old location:) They have been outstanding across the board for years:) Yet, things have begun to turn towards the darkside on our last three visits:( Tonight, the wheels almost came off:( Even though the food was still good:) The chips tasted old and were cold:( Service was weak at best:( Will stay away for a while and try other places, many to pick from.

Visited for the first time on Saturday, had seen this restaurant a few times. Read the Trip Advisor reviews and though we would give it a try. We have eaten at most of the Mexican Restaurants in Cartersville and wanted to try someplace new. First, itâs not a big place, but is nice and clean. Because it was Saturday, we went early, around 6, and it was already busy. While we were sat pretty quickly, in short order there was a line and quite a few people waiting outside. The service was fast and friendly, and our appetizer, as well as chips and salsa, arrived quickly. We both ordered fajitas, different varieties, and they were excellent. Our glasses were never empty and everything was spot on. Canât wait to go back.
