We've been to this restaurant twice already and love it. It's located in a strip mall but don't let the location fool you. The food is delicious! We've never had a problem getting a table for 5-6 people, even on a Saturday night. The service is prompt and each waitress is very cordial. They don't try to rush you out after you've finished eating. The menu offers a wide range of Mexican foods and specialties. All of us have loved every dish. There's always plenty of food left to take home. Meals are served very quickly and hot!Prices are great. My large quesadilla dish was 6.99!Ambience is not the greatest but if you want great Mexican food this is a must do visit!

As a prior restaurant owner, and manager I really understand the complexities of running a successful restaurant. However, it takes actual management, who knows and cares. And the understanding that in a restaurant the only smells you want are from food! We were celebrating our anniversary and decided to go to a "nice" place. This was on October 22, 2019. I guess going with an hour till closing was cutting it too close to the shutting-down time, because they seemed way more interested in cleaning up, sweeping, moving chairs, and MOPPING THE FLOORS WITH BLEACH, than waiting on the customers. The food is, at best, average. I had a chili relleno that was embarrassing to be called that. Along with dried refried beans and old rice. My wife had a Charly Burrito, which was again, pretty average. We both had a margarita to start the meal, and those were fine. Service was spotty, as everyone was interested in pre-closing. To get a soda refill, I had to go find a server! But, the absolutely worst thing was the BLEACH!!! They said the kitchen employees must be scrubbing the floor, and somehow the door has opened. No one made an attempt to CLOSE THE DOOR!! It was SO strong, I wondered how the employees didn't pass out! I actually threw some money on the table and we left! Allergic to such strong bleach, I was chocking in the parking lot for several minutes before I could get in the car. And, remember, I have worked much of my life in restaurants and foodservice. This place was absolutely terrible that night!! We planned to have a nice dining experience, knowing we're paying more than most other Mexican places, but it turned into a CRAPPY experience. NO WAY can I recommend this place to anyone. I've been there before, but it was a while ago. This is not the same place as before. Stay away!

We ordered the Prawn Fajitas for two. Our meal was very good and more than we could begin to eat. The shrimp were very large but tender. The service on the other hand wasn't very good. Multiple staff walked past us without even acknowledging our presence. We will definitely give it another try and hope they step up their game on service.

My husband and I just left there, and as usual we were totally happy with our service there as well as the food.We live here in Cape Coral and although we have lots of other Mexican Restaurants around here, we keep coming back because here w know what we're going to get. We've never had unfriendly wait staff, the food has always been hot and fresh and what I appreciate very much during the rare times we go out to eat, it's always consistent. So keep up the good work folks and I'll keep sending vacation people your way :).Thank you so much for allowing us to serve you, Sandra. Till next time!

Monarcaâs restaurant is inspired by our family history. We pay homage to the diversity and cultural richness, providing our family touch. Come and enjoy in Monarcas with a large family room with capacity for 270 people and a cozy bar. Monarca stands out f
Valeria was our server and was so sweet and helpful. We ordered the fajitas and Mole Chicken enchiladas, can't remember the name of the dish, but they were both very good! We were there for lunch and my husband did get a draft beer too and the serving sizes are larger than typical lunch portions and the bill came to $43 plus tax and tip, which we feel is a bit pricy for Mexican food during lunch. I assume the rent is high because it's in the mall, therefore the prices have to support it. I would probably not go back for lunch, but I would definitely go back for dinner and then try a margaritas.Thank you for your comments and feedback, we appreciate your business and hope you return.

First visit here and glad we came. It is about 20 minutes from our home so not too bad a drive. I made reservations since this was large group and we were seated immediately when we arrived. The staff did an excellent job throughout the meal. We had chips, salsa and guacamole which was excellent. I love their salsa. I ordered the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. Loved it. Lots of flavor. Our daughters had the quesadillas. They ate all of it.The drinks are excellent s well especially the Margaritas. This is now our favorite Mexican restaurant. We will be back soon.
