Things to do in Bartlett
Had dinner with some friends. Place had only 2 tables of customers. Service was excrptionally slow. Our friends had Margarita's. It was happy hour and the lady brought two small glasses out. My friend questioned the small glasses. The server finally brought two more small glasses out. When we got the bill, she charged them each for two rounds of drinks. The Server said when they asked for the second ones, happy hour was over. That was not the case. They paid and vowed not to return to this location. The other locations are very good with great service.

My wife and I have frequented this Latino owned and operated restaurant that sits next to a railroad track in the heart of Bartlett. The enchiladas rancheras, taco salads, burritos, and combination plates never fail to please. The service is pleasant and courteous. The electric train that encircles the inside of the eatery adds a bit of interest. Wanna practice your Spanish? Well, here is your opportunity. You will not find a better Mexican restaurant anywhere.

Had a pleasant evening at Abuelos in Memphis on a Friday evening..short wait for a table, had really good service from our waiter Troy and the food was tasty. The diablo queso is the bomb ! Enjoyed enchiladas, and some mini pork medallions wrapped in bacon and the beans on the side are a lot better than the usual mush served elsewhere. Sangria was tasty too, just the thing to go along with dinner.
Birthday party for a friend. Six of us went as this was our friend's favorite Mexican restaurant.Oh goodness, not even better than average. The first indication was the salsa. The entree portions were fairly small and not flavorful at all. The drinks did not impress either. There was no one at our table except for the birthday girl that said anything positive about the meals. Nothing negative was said, but no one complimented anything.Service was ok, atmosphere was not memorable.
My wife and I returned to Los Cabos since our first visit when it opened. We sat outside in beautiful weather. A number of large family groups were there for Mother's Day.I had a chimichanga and my wife had burritos. Goodness, they were huge and delicious. Rice was very good as was the guacamole. The food was exceptional, the service was very good.Getting our check and a carry out box was slow and my credit card was declined. I asked to go with her to run it again and it worked fine. The serve said it was a faulty machine. At any rate, it was a bit embarrassing. When we sat down, there was wrapped silverware and napkins already at our table, but they were food stained. They had to be replaced. There was a lot of family fun going on with one young boy running around unchecked. We ended up with enough food for another meal.

Nice cozy restaurant with a friendly family-run feel. Big menu of standard Mexican American dishes. All were safe in terms of spicing. Wasn't disappointing but wasn't exciting either.

We stopped for a quick lunch while in town and we were very pleased with our choice. I remember going years ago and not being very impressed but it has definitely improved over time. Service was fast and friendly and our waitress was very attentive. The food was good and tasted fresh. The cheese dip and salsa were both excellent. My father got a margarita and said it was probably the best he's ever had. I think this may be our new favorite Mexican place in Memphis.

Authentic, culturally picturesque and welcoming. Usually fast seating, but it does get busy. Portions are large, flavors lack nothing. Freshness is the usual fare.I personally like the chicken taco salads, while my wife likes the combo plates. Cheese dip is always a treat. Service is always cordial, management is always on-site.This is a well-established eatery and if has a following of loyal folks. You won't go wrong eating here.

Convenient location, easy to find, plenty of parking. This place has really good food. The people are very pleasant and provide excellent service. The food is tasty, great quality, and servings are generous. Between two of us, we could not finish two tacos and a taco salad. Will be back soon...there are some interesting dishes on the menu.

Stopped by - had tried to find good Mexican food in Memphis several times - always struck out. Not a fancy place. Service is good, and happy to have you. Chips and salsa set the tone - chips are thick but fresh, salsa is thin, but good deep flavor. I had the chicken Taco Salad without high expectations - turned out to be excellent. Will make this our go-to Mexican, it's hard to find home (Texas) in Memphis
