The counter person was very informed of the menu and very polite. The food was takeout and very fast. The food was average; not authentic Mexican but ok for quick, on the go meal. There is seating inside. It is clean but dated. The restaurant has a parking lot which easy to enter and depart.
Our picky 3yr old loved the Grilled Chicken Quesadilla and was more than eager to help me with my the Super Nachos with juicy Grilled Chicken. Both are excellent, large portions and packed full of fresh ingredients. The tortilla chips, pico de gallo and guacamole are housemade fresh which I was thrilled to learn and come with both items standard. The guacamole is bright with fresh cilantro, perfection. Hubby had a grilled chicken super burrito. He ate just over half before being hopelessly stuffed. All 3 of us had left overs for lunch the next day. I saved room for their Flan, which was amazing! Rich, creamy silky-smooth texture and a light caramel glaze. Our son enjoyed the cinnamon horchata and churros. Can't wait to come back for tamales!

Cafe D taint nothin special to look at. In fact most of their restaurants are pretty dumpy. Our favorite is the chicken enchilada. It's made with green sauce, tender white meat chicken, jack cheese and a nice blob of sour cream. Their rice is good and beans are creamy and tasty (probably due to lard). Tuesday's you can get 3 tacos (any kind) for $5-such a deal. Taco salad is good, as is their chicken soup, tamales are tasty, chimichanga (with pork verde) is excellent. I'm a wino, so their wine margaritas suit me fine. This is not fancy, not gourmet and I'm sure not authentic-but it's reasonably priced comfort food.

This place is a cut above the average taqueria. They offer table service as well as take out. They also have traditional plates (shrimp dishes, pork dishes, etc.) I ordered their three street tacos, which contained generous portions of meat. It was almost too much food. Their ala carte menu doesn't include individual tacos, but I think that the next time I dine here, I'll ask if I can just order 2 tacos. The waitress was friendly and polite. Service was a little slow, considering that we were the only patrons in the place at the time. The dining area is clean, although I thought it had a bit of an unpleasant odor during our visit. They have a chip and salsa bar that is complimentary for guests who order a meal.

Great place, really nice people. We ordered the guacamole to have with our chips/nachos just because they brought it out as a suggestion [nice sell tactic, by the way]. It was AWESOME. There were actual groans coming from our table! The food was generous and very yummy. This is on my "if I am within 50 miles" stop off from now on.

We are a locally owned, family business serving the Auburn and Roseville area since 1965. Our family prides itself on preparing our dishes using only the freshest and finest ingredients.
The Delicias Tostadas are a great meat for about $7 with a choice of pork, chicken or beef. Sered on a fried tortilla smeared with beans(or no beans if that's your desire like my wife) piled high with cheese lettuce guacamole and slices of tomato...yum! Usually we have to take half of it home in a to-go box.

This place is delicious! We love swinging by for any of their food, but their el Pastor is my favorite. This is an authentic Mexican place, with simple service. Perfect if you want a no frills restaurant with great food.

We stopped here on our way out of state as there was a brewery nearby that we wanted to visit that was not yet open. What a nice stop it ended up being. It is literally a little hole in the wall place, but it was a treat. The asada was tasty and not fatty. The avocado salsa was delicious. The avocado salad with asada literally had a half of a fresh avocado sliced on top of it. But the very best part was the service. It was clearly a small family-owned and run place. The owner was very friendly asking us where we travelling to and just making small talk while we ordered. Then he came by our tables later to talk with us some more. The woman who I believe was the wife was also very friendly and helpful. If we lived in Auburn, I can tell you this would be a place I visit regularly. Great little restaurant, but be warned there is very little seating, so more a take- out place. We took up half of the seating with our party.

Service was pretty good. It's a typical Mexican restaurant. Food was great, plenty of places to sit. No outdoor seating though. Prices are very reasonable.
