Arguniano and Gure Txokoa are the best restaurants in zarautz... I have been coming here for 12 years. This year the food is even better at Gure Txokoa... I have tried on purpose the Cigalas Rebozadas in Gure Txokoa, Arguiano, Kiape and Astillero in Geteria.. GURE TXOKAO WINS.. If you are visiting Zarautz and want an incredible meal at a fair price with great service from Elena and Liz...go to Gure Txokoa.....

Even that this restaurant is called "pizzeria", it offers other kind of food such as, chicken, hamburgers, salad... The owners are very humble, so their main purpose is to offer a good service with good food. Their secret is that the pizza dough is very n
Lovely thin based pizzas which taste really good. There is an option to order a few various types of pizza by the slice. The lady who served us was really nice and friendly. We will definitely come back.

We had high expectations for the seafood restaurant based on TripAdvisor. The elderly hostess greeted us and took our jackets. A waiter/salesman came and explained the restaurant menu to us, pointing out several types of fish that they were out of. Once he took the order we never saw him again. The waiter was followed by an individual who helped us select our wine - we never saw him either. There were several helpers who presented the dishes and took our plates when finished. The wine was placed in an ice bucket on the far side of the table where we were sitting. When I asked the helper for assistance and pouring another glass of wine she moved the bucket closer to me and said âit was now easier for me to serve myself and my wife.â I have never had this kind of service or response, particularly for what is promoted as a fine dining restaurant. As for the food it was average in preparation served lukewarm and accompanied by mixed grilled vegetables (when I asked the waiter what type of vegetables his reply âsummer vegetables.â )Everything served was à la cart. This is not a cheap restaurant and there were adults wearing shorts and sloppy looking Leviâs. There were young teenagers teasing each other & disrespectful of their parents. This experience was very disappointing and not only would I not return, but I would discourage others to find a real dining experience.

We came here at the end of the season and were the only people until 10pm when 3 more arrived. We had a fantastic friendly waitress - the food was high quality especially the oxtail in chianti. The wine was reasonable in price and excellent in quality. High quality table with linen cloth and fresh flowers. Lovely evening.

Had dinner here with my girlfriend. The menu is not very extended. My girlfriend had the Ensalada Euskalduna and I took the Chicken leg with French Fries. Tasteful, fast service, nice staff and a friendly setting with plenty of customers. My girlfriend took the desert âa chocolate lava cakeâ, quite nice. Including the wines we had to pay ⬠27.

I was in Zarautz with my wife in September 2014, and we had lunch at Telesforo. Service is great, the food is very good and the prices are affordable.

What a find. We came here when we couldn't get in to a restaurant around the corner. We had walked 3km from Geteria and were hungry! We got some pintxos from the bar but then also ordered from the menu. The scallops with sea urchin sauce are amazing- the best I have ever had. It is a very interesting menu with some dishes able to come in pintxos, entree or main size. The wine is very cheap and very good and the service very considerate. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. I would definitely come back here again.

Came from Dublin for a big birthday lunch and was really impressed with the menu provided for the event. Excellent variety, quality and presentation of food and dining room. Lovely patio area at the rear where the friendly staff served cava and canapes before the main meal.

Great, truly delicious food, very friendly staff, very nice atmosphere. When our kids got tired and we asked them to skip one course from the âtasting menu del diaâ (8 courses), they did so ánd speeded up with the remaining desert and coffee ánd gave us a discount. Muchas gracias for your great hospitality and service. Weâll be back!

The Artzabal has a large terrace where you can enjoy your drinks and pintxos (fingerfood) when the weather is fine. It also serves a daily menú for 9,50⬠during the week and a 19⬠special menú on weekends. Most customers are locals, the atmosphere is relaxed, service friendly and toilets clean. On the bar counter they have a wide selection of pintxos which are mostly sold at 1⬠each and are quite tempting.
