For the last night in Sydney we were looking for a nice place and a good meal and a kind waitress in our hotel suggested this place. The area is amazing, the restaurant nice and calm and the food overal good, despite quite elaborate: more close to french cousine than spanish, but quuge interesting! We asked for Sangria, that they slso not offer, and they propose their spritz that has nothing to do with a real Spritz!Overall, the experience was good sonwr reccoment it.Hola,Thank you kindly for taking the time to write this great review. We are so pleased you enjoyed dining with us and appreciate you sharing your experience. You are quite correct, our cuisine is not classically Spanish, however we do draw inspiration from all over the Mediterranean, hence the varied styles of cuisine on our menu.I was our pleasure to host you and we hope to see you again one day. With appreciation,Mercado Team

A stylish European restaurant and Wine Bar situated in the heart of the city.. Sydney Established 18 years with many regular diners Trading breakfast lunch and dinner with drinks, a long list of wines by the glass and classic cocktails
Solo dinner while in Sydney on business.Warm upmarket bistro feel. Classic decor.Service is very good.Menu is one of those where you could eat most meals. I tried the porchetta which was excellent - how they got the crackling so crispy yet light I donât know.Soufflé to start was delicious too - light yet powerful in flavour.Great wine list - enjoyed a half bottle of one of my favourite Pinots.Prices are not over the top and great value.Very unassuming venue for one of Sydneyâs top restaurants (in my opinion)

Nomad is a cellar door in the city where the food and wine showcase the best local produce grown and raised by Australian farmers, grape growers and wine makers. Nomad's menu draws on the flavours of the Mediterranean using local Australian ingredients to
This was a return visit to Nomad, the first some years ago and the food was very well presented and tasty and as good as the first visit, perhaps better. The service was a little tardy although acceptable if you were not short for time. Although we had a variety of dishes no attempt was made to replace plates which showed some lack of attention to detail. An interesting observation was a wine waiter that sampled each bottle of wine before delivering to the table. Perhaps that is the way it is done although some might suggest the customer should do the checking.Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.Feedback, whether it is good or bad is always appreciated. We rely upon this to show us where we are doing well or where we may need improvement. We are pleased you enjoyed your overall experience with us.Thanks again.

Have been here numerous times before but first time under new chef and with new menu. Not impressed. Some favourites have been retired (barramumdi) with new ones such as barbounia and snapper not up to scratch as they were way overcooked. The entrees have gone bland from their previous sharp tastes. Best on the night was the imported baklava and the coffee for which I will go again for - after having dinner elsewhere!

I arrived at 9pm just as the restaurant had emptied, but I was welcomed inside as the sole guest. The lamb souvlaki was incredible, the staff were friendly and did not try to rush me. Will definitely return and try the rest of the menu over a long lunch, dinner or both. Highly recommended. Thanks Tom so glad you just got in and could enjoy some lamb - hope to see you back soon

Mister Percy Wine Bar & Kitchen is housed in a former historic wool store in heart of Pyrmont offering Mediterranean-style shared style food + pinchos alongside a carefully curated free-flowing wine that is sure to excite. Home to the effortlessly stylish
we had a combined room/dinner package. The atmosphere of the restaurant was small and cosy but the other people never felt intrusive. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much of a problem for them. Menu was interesting and well thought out in that the portions were such that you could share easily because of the way they were prepared. Also i felt the pricing very reasonable including the drinks.

Had dinner here on a Monday night ... restaurant was almost empty so lacked ambience and decor needs some updating as a bit dated. Had a wagyu rump ... was good but not memorable. Service was attentive as you would expect for a quiet night. Overall itâs OK but is in need of something to make it memorable. Respectable prices though. Not bad, not great ... average.

Modern, elegant wine bar in the heart of Double Bay, with delicious food using the best local produce, exceptional wines and friendly service.
I was lucky enough to attend a third birthday dinner for Bibo Wine Bar this week. Not only do they have a highly original and unique selection of fabulous wines but these pair so effortlessly with their delicious food menu. Everything is a perfect match.Dinner was a selection of share plates starting with entree style smoked salmon pâté, the incredibly delicious scallop cru & finger lime, runner bean fitters, and the piri piri aubergine and the mouth watering Flambé chorizo. This was followed by the equally mouth watering main size Suckling Pig with Fennel, persimmon & pomegranate. We finished this with a quince & bergamot tart followed my mini Portuguese tarts straight out of the oven. All of this was with matching wines by the glass perfectly chosen from Portugal to Australia. All in all this was a wonderful evening. I would highly recommend Bibo Wine Bar for anything from a special dinner for two to a large group booking for a celebration. Either way you will be looked after and will have a truly special dinning experience.

An Italian Osteria offering a selection of antipasto, spuntini and home made pasta. Weekly specials include - Monday's pasta e vino $20, Tuesday's braise e barbera $25, Wednesday's spit roast e sangiovese $25 and weekend lunch special of pasta e vino $20
I had dinner here last night to coincide with their new menu with one of my closest friends. We have both been coming here for a few years and consider it to be one of the best Italian restaurants in Sydney. Again last night we were impressed with everything from the friendly service right through to the cocktails to the delicious food and wines. It is truly rare for a restaurant to consistently deliver day-in-day-out, week-in-week-out month after month. A strong traditional Italian menu with daily specials. Baccomatto Osteria is one of these restaurants and you will be impressed. Strongly advise making a booking from mid week through to the weekends.

This is a really good Lebanese restaurant, authentic, tasty and fresh. It is located just down the street from the Belvoir Theatre and great for a pre-show meal, however its a short walk up a really steep hill to the theatre. Not great if you have a fully belly of food!
