Reviews on Mediterranean food in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Brussels, Brussels. Woluwe-Saint-Lambert (French pronunciation: [wolywe sɛ̃ lɑ̃bɛːʁ]) or Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe (Dutch, pronounced [sɪnt ˈlɑmbrɛxts ˈʋoːlyʋə] ( listen)) is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium. It is a prosperous residential area, with a mixture of flats and detached, semi-detached and terraced houses, often compared with Uccle (Ukkel in Dutch), another affluent Brussels municipality, and the 14th or 17th arrondissement in Paris.

We went for dinner to Kafenio and had authentic Greek dishes - Mezze à la maison. Excellent choice, with a variety of seefood, meat, cream cheeses... just great. Very attentive service. Price level is appropriate for that quality of food and service. Happy to return to Kafenio!First all, thank you for your visit.Thank you so much for your comment!!!Nice to see you .Arkoulis Family

Wow, this place was great...AGAIN! It was my second visit here in 2018 and this time was just as good or better. The owner showed us real hospitality throughout the dinner. My friend ordered something he wasnât crazy about and the owner brought something else just so he would be pleased! What great ownership! For appetizer I had smoked burrata with grilled veges. For entre I had the squid ink spaghetti with red tuna tartare again) and it was absolutely fantastic. For dessert the caprese chocolate cake (amazing!). House recommended red wine (donât remember name) as well as espresso with dessert truly excellent too. I will be coming back if I get to visit Brussels a 3rd time!

Booked in advance and enjoyed sitting amongst the traditional Moroccan decor. Service was friendly and pleasant throughout. â¬12.50 for salad, olives, bread and Tangine - excellent value for money compared to other restaurants in the area. Tangine was booked to perfection and well-seasoned with olives. The prawn Tangine was richer in taste.

The time to read the menu, we were offered an aperitif, an "improved", tasty Prosecco⦠Nice surprise. The choice of meals is large, each of our group of four found his preferred lunch. Light for ladies, heavier for men. I went for lentils with smoked pork knuckle. Unfortunately, the juicy piece of pork knuckle I was dreaming about appeared to be just few pieces of meat dropped on the lentils. The taste was nice but it was not what I expected. My friends largely enjoyed their meal. Which was promptly served, no long waiting time to see first food arriving. At the end we were offered a Grappa or Limoncello. With winter outside, hard to refuse... Overall a positive experience, booking in advance for the lunch time is strongly recommended in this offices area.

A family restaurant. Home made pasta made with Love. The most delicious tasting pasta I have ever had. Silvana the daughter gave her recommendations which included two specials her mother makes in the kitchen. Tonight a black squid with shrimp and a porcini with spec. My husband and I shared both and loved every bite. We finished the meal with tiramisu...delish!

After having lost contact, as they moved location, I found this beautiful italian restaurant again. The new location, in residential Kraainem area makes it easily accessible and you shouldn't have trouble for a parking spot. As before, nice and friendly staff, beautiful sober decoration, comfortable tables and the perfectly chosen atmosphere music make your stay rather enjoyable. Of course, the meal was as expected, prepared and served with class, tasty and portions where far substantial too. Happy to be back!

I think I may have just found my new favourite restaurant in Brussels! I had heard quite a lot about the Resto Verso from several friends but as it is a little bit outside the city (Woluwe St Lambert/Stockel) it was only recently that I managed to find an excuse to go there with a business colleague for lunch. It was certainly well worth the trip and it was delightful. We were greeted with an extremely tasty amuse-bouche of broccoli soup. We had just two courses from a very interesting choice of dishes of the day which were beautifully prepared for us in the very clean and tidy looking open kitchen. It was good to have it served on piping-hot plates and the extra gorgonzola sauce for my veal, brought to me hot from the stove by the chef, was a nice touch. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. In fact, everything about our lunch was perfect and it was very reasonably priced. It is quite a small restaurant and not surprisingly it gets very busy so a booking is definitely advisable.

The delicious and amazing Spanish food (better than most part of the restaurants in Spain), the careful and perfect professional services of the waiters , and the terrace of the restaurant in Fernand Cocq square (Ixelles/Brussels) makes the dinner a unique experience

I love Lebanese so took the short walk to Beyrouth.Itâs a warm and welcoming place, deceptively large inside, a bit over bright but with a wonderful roaring (gas) fire. In contrast, the reception from the manager was distinctly lacking in warmth. Not rude, just ambivalent. I love Lebanese and the starters: houmous, Tabuleh with flat breads were exactly what I was looking for. Next I had the lamb shish. They werenât terrible, but chewy and a little flavourless. The spicy toasted flat bread went half way to redeeming the dish, but .....Overall I wasnât unhappy that Iâd been. But Iâm not rushing to go back.
