Had the most delightful sunday lunch at Le Bistrot. The food was delicious and very well presented. The accompanying wine was also very good. The service was proffesional and attentive. This has been one of my food highlights during this holiday to Cagnes sur Mer. This was my second visit here, I cannot recommend it highly enough. I Will definitely eat here again in the future.

We have been regularly visiting this restaurant under Mr. Scordel, who's creativity and hospitality we've loved. After the ownership has changed we were not sure what to expect and waited few months before visiting the place. And... what a great surprise! It has not only kept all the positives from the past, but added a lot of fresh notes and superb ideas. Very creative, imaginary cuisine, superbly presented. Fresh, savory compositions, driven by the season, with some Basque twist but still very French in execution and presentation. If one looks for gastronomic experience, respecting best ingredients and seasons, combining eclectic ideas with very modern culinary attitude - it is a great place to visit. Very friendly and professional service helps to enjoy the pleasures of food. Last but not least - we have been very positively surprised by the price we paid. For the quality offered it was like a gift! All together it is one of the best offers in the area. A must to visit and experience. We will certainly come back. Dropped in for lunch outside in the square. Received prompt, professional service from the staff. The filet de poulet was quite tasty as was the mountain of frites accompanying it. The pates au saumon was exceptionally flavorful. We had a delightful meal here. However, I walked away from my credit card--and discovered it after they had closed until the next day. Since we are traveling through the area it was either (1) alter our trip to come back the next morning to see if they had the card; (2) cancel the credit card and put up with that hassle, or (3) go back to see if there was some way I could find out if it had been safeguarded. Choosing door #3 I went back, but the square was completely empty of the chairs and tables. Seeing a butcherie behind where we had lunch I went to the counter and before I could say a word I was greeted with "You left your credit card today!" All's well that ends well--the restaurant left it with the nearby business that would be open until 6:30. Am I the happiest guy in Villinueva-Loubet? I think so

Excellent little place if you want to have a French/Mediterranean bistro experience. We had a great night in le Pointu from the top nocht service, to the environment and decor which are amazing. Whether you're eating inside, where the atmosphere and decoration are just fantastic, or outside facing the beautiful Mediterranean sea you'll find what you're looking for.The cuisine, which is delicious has a simple and tasteful twist which makes the experience amazingly enjoyable. The staff from the chef, to the waiters are incredibly nice and making sure that you have a delightful meal.If you're around and looking for a simple yet pleasing dish just pop in and you won't be disappointed.

This used to be a wonderful restaurant but no more. We started with gravalax of dorade. Very small amount of dorade all cucumber. My main of fricasee of squidWas inedible.sent it back and ordered chicken as my husband said his was reasonablebut they gave me 4 small pieces of chicken and no potatoes which my husband had.Will not returnBonsoir monsieurEn venant chez nous, vous ne saviez pas que le propriétaire avait changé. Morgane la responsable de salle vous la indiqué avant la prise de commande, vous avez pensé revoir l'ancien propriétaire. Déjà à ce moment bien precis votre attitude avez bien changé. Donc comment pouvez vous être objectif sur la qualité de la nourriture qu'on vous a servi.

A young couple started this restaurant after a thorough restaurant education. We started with two different planches with a range of attractive bites followed by a maincourse, copious, nicely presented with good and fresh ingredients. Both fish and meat were cooked to perfection. It was the second time we went there a third time will follow that's for sure.

We really enjoyed this lovely restaurant. Staff were very friendly and fun. The food was delicious and we both enjoyed the whole experience. I mention budget in my heading as it is expensive on the A la carte however, prices are clearly marked and we chose to book and eat there. The menu is what you would expect of quality venue. Wine list had a good choice (we had two bottles). Our only regret was not visiting again.

Worth a visit or two. Even better if you are staying in Haut des Cagnes. Fantastic food and well priced and a very charming owner. I was there during low low season but that was only pleasant. Very small restaurant with only six tables. I had mussels for starter and scallop risotto as a main dish, both were amazing.

Our visit tonight was one of the nicest dining experiences weâve had recently. Restaurant or home? A tiny, homely husband and wife spot, innocuous on a mundane main road in Cagnes-sur-Mer, â¬69 for an impeccable, home-cooked three-course meal, bookended by a delicious anchovy-based amuse-bouche and a cheeky kumquat-infused rum. The couple who run it are lovely, and we wanted everything on their small menu. Hope to go back.
