We were walking in Vilafranca and this place was the best choice ever. The quality of the food is excellent with a large variety of Catalan dishes. If you have no idea to make your choice ask for advice to the lady serving there she was lovely. I was with my partner and I have got the feeling to enjoy the food like being in a family! Next time I will try "El pollo a la brasa con leña" . Moltes grà cies, fins aviat!

We were taken here by friends who produce wine in Vilafranca and the food was sensational. Everything is fresh & as local as possible. Excellent service as well. A must visit if in Vilafranca.

Restaurante La vinya del mar
I was surprised by the quality and presentation of the food, the fish was excellent, a very correct wine and cavas list and the staff very professional and attentive. The place a little cold but 100% recomended.I will return for try the "Paella".

Mediterranean cuisine and everywhere adapted to the cuisine of the moment to share with the best company
El Convent came recommended from a winery we visited and we were not disappointed. This is a great place. Excellent food with a great selection of reasonably priced wines. The staff were fabulous with our poor Spanish speaking - they were very patient - and the service was superb. Everything we had was great - the Octopus, Fondue, Tuna tartar, Tomato bread and Chicken salad. El Convent is highly recommended.

Just had dinner there because my hotel's restaurant was closed and this is the only one open in town. I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend their food. The service was good, the waiters are very pleasant, but the food is a big disappointment. They are trying to have some Japanese dishes too but the seaweed salad I had was such mishmash of goat cheese, seaweed, heavy and very vinegary balsamic vinegar, mixed greens, sun dried tomatoes, that I felt like it didn't really belong in any category. And the extremely heavy Spanish balsamic vinegar permeated my tastebuds... then I had the tuna... it definitely was a great presentation but the cut was a very inferior cut of tuna, which had almost the texture of canned tuna. And the whole dish arrived cold, including the mashed potatoes which had a mix of diced green, red and yellow peppers on them (again not a good mix with mashed potatoes)... and they only have one kind of wine by the glass... so all in all not at all a recommendable place to eat.Dear Customer, it is very unfortunate to hear your opinion. First of all we are very sorry that our style of food didnât match with your taste. We will review your comment with our kitchen staff, specially the vinagret you mentioned. As for Tuna dish, if you donât mind to answer me whether if you asked well done or medium? Because we usually cook it very raw so that this (get very dry) wonât happen. As known, Tuna fish gets really dry ,as you say just like the canned, when it is cooked through. Thank you.

Oriol Llavina's restaurant in Vilafranca del Penedes. Chef of the year 2009, Oriol's cooking highlights local and seasonal products of the Penedes region
We had a lunch of multiple courses, a tomato cream with blue cheese to start, a green salad with peach, chicken canelons (filo pastry), grilled squid, stuffed chicken roll and a desert of cucumber, melon and mint cream. A bottle of Dahlia Gris rosado from Penedes connected with all the courses. An excellent lunch. One not to miss out on.

Wow, i went to Cal Ton after a tour of the Torres winery, also a worthwhile experience to see how big wineries do their thing, and the food was AMAZING! The appetizers were all awesome, pulpo, chicken salad Catalonian style, lobster salad, then followed by some of really great seafood dishes! The owner actually had one bottle left of a 2012 Ferrer Bobet wine and wow what an amazing wine!! Was just one of many meals to remember in Spain! I would go back any day and can highly recommend it to everyone!

33 Sitges is a modern restaurant that uses only the freshest, seasonal produce to create delicious & memorable food.
Two of us had a very enjoyable and relaxing lunch at 33 on a Sunday. It was particularly enjoyable as the restaurant employed two excellent musician to perform over lunch. (Quite a few people stopped outside to listen, a few even got drawn into the restaurant by the performance.) As for the meal itself, the food selection (only prix-fixe was on offer, with about five or six choices of each of appetizers/mains, and three dessert options) was interesting, the food was delicious and well presented. The melon soup was particularly refreshing and yummy. The atmostphere of the restaurant was airy and bright. The service was very efficient and attentive. The price was extremely agreeable (The prix-fix was 16⬠each). Overall it was a great meal. Highly recommended.
