Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Versailles. This former unofficial capital of France sits just 10 miles from Paris and is easily reachable by train. Even though the Chateau de Versailles has been known as the epitome of indulgent luxury for centuries, seeing it in person is a jaw-dropping experience. The chateau's magnificent gardens are free, but it's worth shelling out for a day ticket to see the interior—although it does make going back to even a fancy hotel seem rather humdrum.

Pizzeria Cesar by Simone Zanoni is THE Italian hotspot to adopt while in Versailles. We are truly attached to our roots and the respect of our traditions in order to offer you a rural and authentic Italian food experience, our products coming directly fro
Just had a lovely (if expensive) meal here. The pizzas were amongst the best Iâve ever had outside of Italy, the gnocchi were very tasty and filling, and the tagliatelle carbonara werenât bad either. The kids loved their food too, which is always a bonus!Unfortunately we came at their busiest time, Saturday 7.30pm, and the staff couldnât really cope with the number of guests. In the end I had to fetch our own water from the bar and chase around for some pepper. We were also overcharged on the bill, but Iâll give them the benefit of the doubt that they were just too busy. Would definitely recommend, but given the amazing choice of restaurants in the area I would probably go and try somewhere else next time.

Delicious couscous in a nice and warm setup. Very good and friendly service by the owners, a dedicated Tunisian couple

We tried the pinchos and croquetas and both were terrible. The food had no taste. The croquetas were extremely bland with nothing inside, only potatoes. The pinchos were extremely simple and not traditional. They use a yellow thin cheese and not a traditional Spanish one. We were going to order additional items, but after the appetizers we decided to leave. We would not recommend this place for those wanting to try real Spanish food.

It is a good venue to spend a pleasant evening with friends. I suggest sharing various dishes with your friends and you can have a not heavy meal for 10â¬. I strongly recommend pan al tomato and the bombas!

Had lunch after touring Versailles. Definitely a restaurant that likes serving fish and animals! I had the grilled tuna with bean puree. Fish was done very well. My wife had the cod, also very delicious. Staff was excellent. Felt bad as we did not take advantage of the delicious looking desserts

We found that place by chance while going to visit Versailles Castle as it sits in a secluded little street on the side of the Castle.Chez Ange serves excellent Corsican dishes, which are very well prepared and served with a smile.Definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in Versailles !

Really enjoyed our visit here for Sunday lunch and will return. Very warm welcome from the staff and the food was delicious. Only reason for not scoring a 5 - we waited a long time for our wine and never received the water we ordered.

Our family ate here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We had a mixed plate of meze, and the tzaziki was delicious. For main we shared some chicken skewers (picture) and lasagne. This little restaurant is worth trying, and half the cost of our bistro from last night.
