It is in the pleasant and picturesque Costa Nova, near Ria de Aveiro estuary, that this cozy restaurant has served, since the 90's, the best flavors of the Portuguese coast. It has every day the best and most diversified fresh fish but also delicious meat
Portuguése friends took us here and it was great. Prawns, mussels, sardines, wine bread, cheese and olives, a great little spread and reasonable. First rate, everything nice, exterior doesnât give it credit.

Typical portuguese restaurant with honest tasty food! That's how I feel it.The "ameijoas a bulhão pato" are one of the best I've ever eaten and the "cataplana" is very good. Lots of flavour! The price is very good! This is not a tourist trap! Why the 4*... because it needs a makeover... new furnish.. paint... could do a lot!But this is a typical portuguese restaurant and I like it for that!

Located in Vagos, this restaurant offers a modern, comfortable and welcoming environment. The menu is diverse, but grilled courses are predominant also including some game meats. Meals should be enjoyed with moderation because the dessert list is extensiv
It was OK, but it wasn't the cheapest, so I expected something better. I didn't really like the meat we ordered. Service was great and the restaurant decoration too

3 brothers and 1 secret closely guarded Three brothers . All different, but with a common goal: to keep the Barracão as conceived and how people like it , typical, unique and cozy . Not only is the restaurant one day, 17 years ago , the father, the genius
Over the past year, the cuisine has improved considerably and although it could always improve, it's alright for a quick and pleasant lunch.

We had a surprisingly good dinner at this restaurant. Our host of Casa da Ria recommended this place and we were happy they did. Ambiance is modern, personnel do everything to please you even using Google translate to explain a dessert. We starten with spumante of the house and the starters are in a buffet. The main course was of course fish.

Restaurant is owned by Americans but the food is local. Amazing portions. Fantastic fish and pasta. The bread and local wine are to die for. It is off the beaten path but well worth the journey.

We have been to this place several times in the years that we have been going to Portugal. This is one of my favourites. If you are looking for a good fish restaurant this is the one. Not to mention the beach just seconds away.

We stayed at the Hotel Santiago which is a very short walk from the Olive. The waiter was very friendly and helped us with the menu which was in Portuguese. The food was good and we would recommend it as a good venue for lunch or dinner.

If you're at Costa Nova and need a restaurant choose this one. They have a very good selection of fish and meat dishes. The type of food is Mediterranean/Portuguese with a twist, and it's delicious. We had grilled fish (don't remember the name), they have fresh fish on display to choose, pan sealed tuna steak and a (great) fish and shellfish "cataplana" with a touch of coconut milk!!Mr. André did a great job explaining everything and helping us choose, he really goes the extra mile so that you can have a good experience.Well to end the review... All the food was great, I really like and advice you to try the cataplana. The price is just right!Going back for sure!!! Congratulations to the restaurant! Costa Nova needed!!!
