This is a really nice family run restaurant. The restaurant are situated on the beach front of the lovely village of Gran Tarajal, in Fuerteventura. The restaurant has a fairly extensive menu including freshly caught fish. Although the staff appear a little stern on approach, do not be put off by their manner. They are extremely helpful and provide excellent service. We have chosen this restaurant on several occasions and have always enjoyed our meal.

We popped in here for coffee, en route to Betancuria and were expecting a basic village cafe, but were surprised how sophisticated it was. Those having lunch seemed to have large platefuls. We had already eaten, so sufficed with coffee, sat at one of the windy outside tables, overlooking the village church. The coffee was good, but it was expensive for what it was, compared to most cafes.

We love this place and always pop there from wherever we're staying, this time it wasn't anywhere near as good as last time!My family members ordered a pizza with Chorizo sausage but it was served with cheap hotdog sausages!! do they think us Brits dont know what Chorizo sausage tastes like?Anyway my Marinera seafood pizza lacked the same quality and had much less toppings than before although still tasty for the price should be much more toppings.Good location to eat with lovely atmosphere and views.

Unfortunately I am disappointed to make a bad review of this restaurant as actually the food is really nice. The staff are also really nice, however the owner is disrespectful and does not understand people who have allergies. I am allergic to peas and ordered paella and specifically explained the allergy on ordering. The paella came with peas in it. I explained it was not possible t eat this as I have an allergy. I said the paella could stay at the table as it was a sharing dish however I would just order something else. Which I did. When the bill came they charged for the full paella and the extra dish, I felt this was unfair as now we dined with 8 people but were charged for 9 Peopleâs meals. They could not understand the problem, even though the dish they brought could of actually caused a severe reaction. I donât mind the problem as it was rectified and the food was nice, however the owner could not understand the bill, we were prepared to give the extra cost as a tip to staff, however we could not do this as the owner was adamant that all the meals should be paid for. It is a shame. Allergies are very serious and should be treated so by restaurant owners. Unfortunately disappointed.

Lost in translation when the order was taken, I'd been looking forward to a nice platter of mixed fish but seems the waiter didn't understand me, got a mediocre piece of fish although tasty ,we were disappointed not to get what we wanted.

Rural guest house, restaurant patio - tapas & full meals - & bar. Extremely charming, disarmingly simple yet exceptionally handsome. Delicious local fare, excellent servce.service. Stayed overnight and ended up eating all meals there. Breakfast was 2nd to
Today we had lunch in this restaurant. Looked it up on the internet, because of the good reviews and the nice pictures. Unfortunately I was really disappointed when the food arrived. I heard constantly a ping of the microwave, did not smell any nice cooking fragrances, it looked poor and the taste was bad. Very sad, the place self is very beautiful, great atmosphere and very 'Spanish' and authentic. We both had pain in our stomach the whole afternoon :-( I would certainly not go there, a waste of your money

Excellent small restaurant serving delicious food, tapas and fish speciality of the place. Right on the beach, spectacular views from the terrace. A simple non fussy touristy village eateries filled with lots of locals when we visited. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. So good we went twice.

This review simply relates to the café (rather than restaurant) as we called in just for a coffee. Suffice to say that the coffee was not the cheapest (E2-50), but certainly the best of our 2 weeks in Lanzarote (this being a day trip). The bar area is just superb, so much of interest with sides of ham and goat bells etc. hanging from the ceiling. The restaurant is directly opposite the church of the same name and the village, original island capital, is just gorgeous and timeless.

My roll was as hard as a rock. I ordered papas fritas and got potatoes. The fish was very good and nicely cooked, the sopa de mariscos good and prices were reasonable. The host tries very hard. Would visit again.

The mission is simple: serve delicious, affordable food that guests will want to return to week after week. THE FOOD Our menu changes according to the seasons and what is provided on a local basis - making sure that vegetarian and vegan options are always
We stopped at this cafe whilst visiting Betancuria. The cafe is set in stunning gardens with lots of exotic plants and cacti. The food is also great quality, the burgers are fantastic. There is also a good choice of vegetarian options.
