We had the opportunity to return to this fantastic restaurant. Set menu that never fails to excite the taste buds. Paired with the hearty house wine and friendly service. Too many courses to count incorporating mushrooms and a main dish prepared on the open fire. Teramisu for desert is always our first choice. There are others too...

A charming place in the western Liguria between sea and mountains. An exclusive oasis of relaxation in the middle of century old olive trees. A typical tasting menu of the Ligurian countryside, rich in local specialties slightly revised by chef G. Borgo t

We visited La Posta during a recent holiday to Pigna. It's only a small place with a few tables outside but it's very traditional with home cooked food. The menu is on a blackboard but the waitress spoke good English and translated everything for us. We both had pasta which was delicious and very reasonably priced.

We looked at TridAdvisor ranking again...And we had again a great dinner! My caramelle allo scoglio were delicious! Home-made and very original! The fritto di paranza arrived hot, crunchy and not salty! It's a must there!A special comment for Stephanie, chef's wife and waiter.... great work and nice personality! We really enjoyed dinner with you, Stephanie!I really suggest this place for a dinner... the terrance, in the middle of the village, facing one side mountains and on the other the amazing carrugi!

During the last 20 years we have noticed a sad decline in many of the traditional agriturismi in the hills behind Imperia which offer set-menu meals. The prices have crept up and the range and quality of food have slipped.Consequently today's lunch at Poggio di Maro' was a really delightful experience. We had met Barbara a few weeks earlier at a local market and bought some of their saffron. Chatting, we learnt about their agriturismo and so decided to try it out. True the drive up the final half-kilometre is rather steep, but nothing unusual for the area. Arriving, the house is beautifully laid out, especially in today's winter sunshine. Daniele welcomed us on the terrace with an aperitivo and we could enjoy the stupendous views. Inside, the small dining-room is just as attractive. As for the food, Barbara's cooking is a delight. The antipasti began with a pumpkin flan and anchovy sauce - and the courses kept on coming. Also we had some dishes which we do not normally meet in agritourismo - the pork and agrodolce onions, the saffron-flavoured panacotta.Daniele served - and both were so friendly it was as if we were family guests. At â¬35 per head, including wine, we were more than satisfied.Thank you to both of you for a lovely lunch!

If you have the privilege of eating at Osteria Cian de Biaâ you will never forget it because food here encloses ancient knowledge, family recipes and deep Liguria upcountry roots. Husband receiving and serving, wife in the kitchen working her magic is a winning combination that makes you feel at ease and most welcomed. Osteria Cian de Biaâ is not a-la-carte, you will be served the menu of the day. If you are vegetarian do inform them when you book (a must if you want to find a table) and you will have one of your best meals.

I was wandering around this little town without knowing where I was going to end... And I pushed the little door of this restaurant where it smells the good & the homemade. Do not expect anything fancy there, you'll be disapointed. Anyhow you should stay just to experience a good meal that you know it is made by the house. Quality and quantity. I usually eat quite well but I wasn't expecting to be quite full juste after the antipasti. Cold and hot, it was varied and tastefull. Then I ordered the local style pasta (with garlic, olive oil and veggies) and it was also marvelous. I ended my lunch just after that as I wasn't able to handle anymore food!... See and taste it for yourself!Good service although the waitress was alone for all the tables! She speaks at least french and english (as well as italian), very helpfull to understand the dishes! :)Grazie mille!! :)

have eaten here 3 times in last 2 weeks and had excellent food an service each time.as on other reviews dont decide from the menu let marco the owner /chef tell you what is best/fresh etc or tell him what you like.marco always provided excellent advice and options.little extras before the meal and fresh fruit afterwards were a bonus.house wine was good and super value..again please ask what is available.we were there when the porchini weeks started !!superb with pasta.

Excellent vibe, good food, in a small restaurant where the family is cooking everything fresh. We had nice traditional food, with some local dishes and specialized in not traditional meat. Wine was great, and even soups were delicious. Strongly recommend when you visit Triora.
