Open from noon to sunset, closed when I go shopping Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to my home. Every morning I wake up happy to build a space of peace, balance and harmony to offer people who like to come to my Taverna. I appreciate people for what th
We just returned from a trip to Tuscany and were fortunate enough to have dinner at Roberto's. He is a delightful man who has a passion for good, natural food. He served 12 of us in his home. The meal was remarkable with all ingredients being organic. Roberto knows food and wine and pairs the two remarkably well. If you can, be sure to make a reservation for lunch or dinner. You will not be disappointed.

We chose this pizza restaurant mainly because it opens at 1830 which is quite rare in Tuscany so we could feed the kids quickly and get them to bed..!! Overall the selection of pizza's were really good and they tasted excellent - would highly recommend the 'paridiso' pizza which although was the most expensive it was only 7.5 Euros. The pizza's were of a good size and we were able to take home what the kids didn't eat in a take out box. The kids also tried the gelato which had a wide selection - the kids didn't enjoy the vanilla or pistachio ice cream which was the only negative. The restaurant also had a wide selection of crepes as well. Overall the food ,good service and low cost I would highly recommend.

Do not miss this restaurant! I know a lot of reviews say this, but it was genuinely the best meal weâve had in Italy so far. After tons of pasta and pizza we wanted something flavorful but with less starch and gluten. I had the grilled veggie platter and it was fantastic! My partner tried a pasta (very thick and fought, yum) and my dad had the tuna with peaches, nice and light. The house wine was great, and the desserts divine. We had to restrain ourselves from licking our plates. I also loved the atmosphere (a sweet, well lit patio), and the waitress who described each dish in detail. Prices were affordable.

Our restaurant cuisine reflects traditional Tuscan cuisine and enhances the taste of our homemade products: Chianina meat, pasta, wines, extra virgin olive oil and cheeses. The Chef creates seasonal menus using our fresh local products.
A perfect place to capture Tuscany feeling. Good food, good service and extraordinary wines! I recommend to also visit the wine cellars, close to the restaurant, amazing.

I promised to come again when in the region ... so we did . As it was a Friday evening we made a reservation for an early start . The chef is passionated by his profession and and passes this on to the customer . When it is a full house you need some patience but it is worth it . We had the first oil of the season yummy , could not be fresher and tastier . The chef explains in English or Italian what he proposes and it is goooood . We try to go for the plates that are from the region and unknown to us and never disappointed . C U next time Gianluca .

A superb restaurant in wonderful surroundings! I would heartily recommend Fondo to anyone who appreciates excellent food and wine as well as attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. Everything is impressive in this establishment, from the stylishly furnished yet cosy dining room to the quality of the ingredients and the tablesâ visual presentation. Every element of the dishes is freshly prepared by chef Sara, down to basics such as the divine charcoal grissini. The menu combines locally sourced high quality ingredients and traditional elements with imaginative touches. For starters, we had empanadas with Chianina mince and a supplì with buffalo mozzarella and peppers tomato sauce. Both our main courses were perfectly executed: a tender beef fillet with red chianti salt, paprika leaves and fresh vegetables, and a pulled pork dish in an unforgettably soft, home baked bun. The wine that Sabina, the restaurant manager, suggested for us - a bottle of local, 2016 Ribollito made according to a special traditional technique - went very well with all our dishes. The cakes were no less delicious: a delicate, velvety tiramisù and a Sicilian cannolo with ricotta filling, chopped pistachios and a sprinkling of coffee powder that was to die for. Considering the high quality of both food and wine, prices are very reasonable. We shall definitely come back - hopefully soon!

Great restaurant with amazing views - perfect for a long and leisurely meal while relaxing in the Tuscan countryside. Home made pasta, cheese platters and desserts were perfect. Grazie!

The restaurant is in the heart of the small hamlet called Fattoria del Colle, its owner Donatella Cinelli Colombini created it to serve her Brunello, Orcia and Chianti wines together with typical Tuscan dishes, and more creative ones. Every dish is prepar
We toured the vineyard; visited the private chapel; learned how to make pinci pasta; and dined at the restaurant. With each course, we sampled another wine, and had the chance to purchase wines afterward. We started with Tuscan Bread Soup, Pinci pasta Bolognese, followed by a mixed grille of chicken, ribs, sliced beef, sliced pork, and sausages accompanied by Tuscan beans. Whipped ricotta for dessert. The lunch was very satisfying; atmosphere superb. I loved this little restaurant. Enjoy!Dear Redeco, thanks for your kind words. You visited our farm the right way. Historical visit, wine tastings, cooking lesson, a good lunch. Thank you for your visit and we look forward to seeing you next time.

This is the pizza you write home about. Perfect in every way. Makes even the best Napoli style pizza back home in Toronto disappointing. We had the margherita and the cappriciosa (with some lovely anchovies). Amazing. The place has no table service and seems to be a combination grocery and pizzeria. You order at the check out counter on the way in and give them your name. When the pizzas are ready they call your name...as pronounced in the local dialect, so listen carefully!!! Also just grab drinks from the cooler on the left...when you're done, pay at the check out counter. It was slightly confusing but the effort was completely worth it.
