Had an absolutely amazing meal with my family. The staff were top class and the food was the best we have had so far which says a lot because it is hard to have a bad meal around Lake Garda. The Gnochetti dish was to die for and the Antipasti before was top class too. We couldnât fault anything. Beautiful dining room on the first floor with views of the lake. I would highly recommend it.

This was our first visit to the beautiful town of Malcesine on Lake Garda, so we looked up restaurants on Tripadvisor and the reviews for Vidoc stood out.It was difficult to find out why.Friendly knowledgeable staff made choosing our courses very easy, then when the food arrived it surpassed our expectations. First we had one of the delicious sharing platters with a carafe of Prosecco, followed by one of the nicest steaks weâve ever had anywhere. It was the size of a T bone and only cost â¬20.When I saw ice cream with balsamic vinegar on the dessert menu, I just had to try it and it was a true delight. One of the other surprises which delighted me was the fact that they sell Amarone by the glass! If youâre visiting Malcesine then a visit to Vidoc is a must if you enjoy and appreciate the fact that their produce is sourced locally and cooked with love.Thank you, we will return.

My party of four ate at this restaurant having found it whilst walking in the town and only when writing this review did I realise its TA rating. I echo recent reviews in that the bread which came out first was warm, crusty and very nice. A side plate to add some olive oil and balsamic would have made it better. As a regular guzzler of pizzas when in Italy, I had to order the gourmet pizza but I probably should have looked closely at the toppings. Parma ham is a given delight but it also contained a significant amount of what tasted to me like whipped fresh cream and to me, not a good balance with the ham and tomato based crust. A good venue but at 15 euros for a pizza it was a let down.Dear Customer,Thanks for your review. We are sorry that you were not fully satisfied with our restaurant. As you have read in the reviews, we do serve warm bread for a tasting of our "Campldo" olive oil, but not when pizza is ordered (unless expressly requested), since pizza is "warm bread" it self. When you referring to "whipped cream" you are talking about our "Burrata", a typical italian cheese known for its softness: if it was dried it would mean that its ingredients were low quality and we could no longer define it "Burrata".We do hope to see you soon.Best regards,Staff Casa L'Andrunèl

We stopped by for dinner and quickly realised we should have booked as we had to wait for a table. Even though it was busy the waiter greeted us enthusiastically and after a while opened the tables inside which were still lovely. We both had fillet steak which was delicious and well cooked. Ordered some fries and a salad, all washed down with some delicious wine and rounded off with a coffee. Fabulous - highly recommended!

Here for the umpteenth time and enjoyed it again. Had the tagliata di manzo with the buttered green beans and it was absolutely delicious. Inside there are pennants from hundreds of sports clubs from around Europe as well as hundreds of bottles as deco. Very individual. At times they have football running on the tv as well. Outside the tables are nicely spaced apart around the terrace. Waiters are friendly and helpful, food is great and the wine and beer plentiful. Iâll be back

Food, service, location....all perfect. We choose the salmon and the pasta with fish and everything was fine. The location with the view over the lake is breathtaking. Go there and enjoy. Better make a reservation a day before to get a good spot outside with the view.

Perfect for warm summer lunches and dinners al fresco, in a courtyard setting dating fron 1715. The gnocchi with local cheese, and the pasta dishes with wild mushrooms were very good. Interesting pizza and desert menu too. The chef is capable, and his family willing and friendly if not super-formal or professional. Very modest bill

Hello and welcome to Aeolus. Tradition and Innovation establishing the perfect balance. Now, make yourself comfortable and follow us on a journey without any space and time, carrying yourself away in a world of different flavours.
If you want a meal in Gargnano look no further. Whether inside or outside the restaurant has the perfect setting, truly incredible food (the risotto was incredible as was the local white fish as was the tiramisu!!!) and outstanding/friendly service. The food was truly excellent- taste, presentation, slight twist: it had it all. Philip, who runs the place, is passionate about delivering an outstanding experience on every count and he has delivered. Look no further. Aeolus is really good value given how top rate it is. This is a very high and strong recommendation.
