We were staying with friends nearby and they were keen to take us to one of their favourite restaurants. It must have been an off day because we were kept waiting for 40 minutes until we received drinks and had our orders taken. Others who arrived after us were served before. It made us a bit edgy and we couldnât relax which was a pity. Our friends said that this âwas Franceâ but that didnât ring true. French waiters are some of the best in the world. No way would a good waiter leave you for so long without even a drink in front of you!!Anyway this wasnât a good experience.Très cher Monsieur,The best answer is one from compatriot ! KHA1Kingston, Surrey9740Shhh....don't tell everyoneSet in the heart of this lovely village, where you can eat in the square on the warm summer evenings. Lovely restaurant with friendly staff and great food. Menu is short but everyone on our table was very happy with their meals.

We just stopped for some drinks - cafe creme and cola max - and we sat and watched since this restaurant is in the centre of Fayence on the main road, just below the car park. We weren't hassled - and the prices were reasonable. Others around us were having delicious looking meals. We have actually eaten there many years ago - and my recollection is that it was good.

Restaurant ouvert en Septembre 2012 par les freres Hugo et Stephane. Cuisine traditionnelle entierement fait maison, revisitee et modernisee par Hugo, servie par Stephane dans le cadre merveilleux d'un des plus beaux villages de France.
Enjoyed a relaxed and extremely tasty meal here last night.Hosts were chatty and charming throughout the evening; although the restaurant was full they still managed to be attentive without rushing us.Food was really high quality - it's not a cheap restaurant but we are happy to pay when the meal is this good. All four of us had different options for each course (apart from dessert when three of us had the amazing lavender-flavoured creme brûlée) and none of us was disappointed.Nice that the chef came out at the end of service to ask how we had found the food too.Try Hugo's homemade strawberry wine as an appitizer - interesting!

This place is located in the center of Tourrettes in between two art galleries. It is such a wonderful place, that I have been returning here at least 5 times since its opening back in May of this year. They prepare typical Provencal food with all local ingredients. It is not like a classical restaurant with a huge list. All the plates the two sisters (Marie and Amelie) who run this place serve are super fresh and home made however, you can taste the difference. (definitively no frozen Picard stuff). I particularly recommend the quiche Provencal (I tend to order this over and over again...). This is a baked tart with savory fillings. Simply delicious. The two owners are super friendly and sympathetic.Last time I was there, I had a good chat about art with the also very sympathetic artist of the village, Christelle. This is definitively an excellent place to enjoy lunch, strongly recommendedNote: they just announced to start offering dinner as well (only some evenings, better check)

Love visiting the Bellevue each year - a great atmosphere with something for everyone on the menu from veal, steak. seafood, pizza and salads. Not expensive four of us with wine typically around 77 Euro's. The waiters work hard. The food is average, having said that no complaints and all clean plates on our table and we eat there year after year,

At the heart of the old village marina offers a cuisine with Provencal accent terrace with fountain on cobbled street. Warm dining room open daily from February to October
Visited one of our favourites again in Montauroux. Owned and run by the family, Veronique is an excellent chef and (unusually for France) produced a varied and tasty selection for our veggie friends when we visited recently. They were sufficiently impressed to say it was the best meal they had ever had in France, despite holidaying in Cannes. Expect to pat about â¬94 for three course lunch for two including a decent local wine, coffee etc..

Sunday lunch on Bastille day. Excellent and friendly service. Calm and cool exterior in the shade of the tree and canopies. Linen on the tables. Excellent wine choice. We are vegetarian but the choice was good. We could see the menu being greatly enjoyed by other diners. The truffle ravioli was without a doubt the finest Iâve ever been served. We couldnât recommend this restaurant more highly. If there were six stars, we would have awarded six!

Delicious lunch in a beautiful location with superb views. Perfect French lunch made from fresh ingredients, all very tasty. Between 3 of us, we enjoyed fried courgette flowers, steak tartare, duck & potato pie, pavlova & lemon creme brûlée. Thought it was very good value & the best lunch weâve had locally so far. Thank you.

I love writing reviews like this! There were 40 of us in a group and the restaurant did a magnificent job of organization so that none of the normal cock-ups occurred. Everyone had pre-chosen their order (by e-mail) and the staff were equipped with cards detailing our order (by name) which they correctly placed at each place AND served the correct food to the correct person with efficiency so that we all ate warm food together!Being in the catering business I seem to have gone on a bit much about the logistics; let me add that the food was superb and the service friendly and pleasant.
