A small place, friendly and quiet. The best pizza Salento only here. Takeaway, and a lounge with 40 seats. Must try!
This is a simple pizza joint, catering perhaps more to locals that to tourists, where one can have very good yet inexpensive pizzas. Beverages (bottled beers included) too are cheap and not overpriced like in more upscale places. We had pizzas also in other restaurants in the area, but this was by far the best. The owners and the waiters are very nice and friendly. I can highly recommend this pizzeria to anyone.

Just off the center of Torre Vado is the restaurant Profumo di Mare overlooking the beautiful and enchanting Salento coast. Situated among the rocks, the sea and the crystal clear water, so close to the sea that, in winter, the waves bathe the windows and
Puglia offers beautiful beaches, olive groves, culture, history, art... and of course authentic food! A place to enjoy wonderful local sea food with an amazing view is this fancy family restaurant. Tables are beautifully set with chair covers, the right crystal glasses for the various types of wine & the right amount of maritime decor and antique wood furniture. It's location is unique providing you incredible sea views, and also some tables can be set in nooks over the beautiful cliff to enjoy even more the breeze & the sounds of the water hitting the rocks.Something we really liked is that the owner (Vito) is also the main Chef: he personally comes to the table to tell you about the specials. We ordered those and then some other dishes from the menu. The seafood salad was the best we had in our entire stay in Puglia. The troffie pasta with local fish (can't remember the name) was so light & delicious (I ate the whole dish which was good for 2 people). The cozze (mussels) antipasto & the pasta al vongole (clams) were excellent too. We ordered a Rosé from nearby vineyard in Tricase 45mins away: Castel Di Salve-Santi Medici! This IGT wine from Negroamaro grapes was presented to us in an elegant ice bucket which kept it chilled to perfection: this was a nice touch that other small family ran restaurants might not offer until you request it!Unfortunately we were too full to order dolce (dessert) but they looked good.My only critique is that the male server could have been a bit warmer & friendlier. Vito seems to be a visionary in business: he provides a higher level restaurant than what you can find for miles, and also holds weddings & other events. The menu tells the story about his family business, which is always a nice touch showing how hardworking people can follow their passion & succeed! Congratulations Vito on your nice restaurant (grazieper il bel piatto di ricordo).

We expected a lot given the looks of the place. However the food is mediocre. We got kind of sushi as a starter which was average, and just was the pasta especially given the price.

After having read other trip advisor reviews and as the restaurant states that it offers gluten free options we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was not well equipped at all and had very limited choice. I had to leave the table and go back to my b&b room (5 min away) to get some GF crackers. All in all I would not recommend it.

We visited Maggazino N.4 twice now, both time taking visitors. The style and quality of the restaurant is so unexpected in the small town of Morciano. Almost Morciano meets Manhattan! Everything we have eaten has been excellent - the antipasti, the primi and secondi. We are yet to try dolce, but they do look amazing. And the service is excellent, very friendly and professional. Plus excellent value for money. We will be back soon.

The restaurant of delicacies the culinary tradition of salento seems designed to satisfy the most varied tastes at all times of the year, in different seasons, to cheer every situation. Ristorante pub con cucina tipica salentina . Ampia scelta di vini del
We ate there one evening, we took some fried calamari, burrata with jam, straccetti di manzo. The stracetti were very good the fried calamari very salty and not fresh, the burrata average. The big minus for me was the smell from the kitchen very present in the restaurant, practically all our clothes were smelling like fried oil when we left.

Having seen that this is the top rated restaurant in town on TripAdvisor we booked for our last night of the holiday with great anticipation, but actually, were rather disappointed. The restaurant was packed, and we were sat at the back of the upper section, rather than the top section that has the sea view. It was incredibly hot and stuffy, despite fans doing their best to get some air circulation, and there is no view this end.The service was good despite it being busy, but the food when it arrived was distinctly average - the pasta sauces were bland and poorly seasoned, but not horrible. The veal was excellent. The prices are fair. If you do go, make sure you reserve a table in the front section where there is more breeze, but we had better meals in other restaurants in Torre Vado I am afraid.

Excellent Hotel La Collinetta, the Italy that deserves to be known for excellence, quality, passion, great honesty and unique landscapes! We left our hearts in Torre Vado, greeted by Fernando as if we had hosted at home...; He, Lunetta, their sons and all Staff (Francesca, Francesco, Mohamed...) stand out for professionalism, care, passion and love with which to handle this. The hotel is situated in a panoramic area in the green of the sea, just a few minutes ' walk from the seafront promenade of Torre Vado. From this town you can reach just a few miles away the most beautiful sandy beaches of Salento. It is a few minutes ' drive from Santa Maria di Leuca. Within easy reach of Gallipoli and Lecce which deserves to be visited. The rooms are spacious and clean. But particularly recommend to stay here for The EXCELLENT CUISINE that will delight in simple and authentic flavors typical of Salento. This is Fernando maestro and its cuisine deserves 4 stars. To conclude ... who loves quality accompanied by professionalism and love for the profession cannot choose to stay here. For all those who are switching to Torre Vado..... i recommend book a refined and romantic dinner with excellent seafood at the adjacent restaurant "Le Scalelle". You won't be disappointed! It's time to say goodbye to ... definitely will return.Valentina and Alessio

Weren't twice and tried everything possible including the Japanese Kobe which left is speechless. In fact any meat on the menu is of top level and finely cooked. No doubt the best meet restaurant in my all life. Service was very kind, the owner is very knowledgeable about meat and can give the right suggestions. Even the kid's menu was great! Can't wait to go back!
