We tried 2 tavernas in Linaria. This is the one closest to the ferry dock. Spaghetti shrimps (not frozen) was superb as was the grilled Sargos. More traditional than others which we preferred. Very good value

A place known for it's Shrimp/Lobster Spagetti but also typical Greek Taverna Fare right at the edge of the sea. So, I went to dinner about 7pm, while it was still light out and sat right at the fence's edge with a great view of Magazia Beach which is an amazing, relaxing view. It was not too crowded but with only waiter at times, he was a bit frazzled, but still polite. The Shrimp Spaghetti was tasty and was really a treat after running the Half-Marathon Race the night before. And with a half-liter of House Red wine, it made for a great evening to relax, listen to the sea, eat my spaghetti, drink my wine and reflect on what a great place Skyros Island is. A definite place to go for sure!

Family of 5. Delicious taramasalata. We ate 5 starters all nice. Then we had 2 seafood pasta which was massive with lots of big prawns in shell and mussels and 2 pork with orange and honey. Amazing complementary desert if small donuts with a honey sauce. With a litre of wine it was â¬76 but one of the nicest meals. Thank you.

I have been here as part of a large group a few times now, and it never fails to impress everyone. The meat dishes in particular are great, but everything is prepared and serviced at the highest standard.Be aware that the dishes are large, surprisingly so in some cases!

The other times we've been there, it was SO packed that we couldn't find a place to sit. This time, it was a windy evening at the end of the season, so they had plenty of empty tables - so, no problem with the seating. The food was fresh and ok, nothing magnificent though. We ordered fresh fish, they were a little bit overcooked but in fresh oil so that's a very big plus. All in all a pleasant experience.PS I know that the waiters have to communicate somehow, but this intercom thing they are wearing is a bit silly!

We stayed for 10 days in Skyros and tried different restaurant every day. In my mind by far the best was this one. EXCELLENT service, fast and extremely professional, was very impressed. The food was simply delicious. Perhaps the best barbounia that I have ever tasted and I love barbounia... Great salads, as well as appetizers. Little more expensive than the rest, but it is worth every euro.

Situated in the lovely bay of Pefkos, near the sea, this institution of a restaurant has been satisfying visitor taste buds for quite some time.It offers a rich menu, with a variety of truly 1st class appetizers as well as main dishes, all prepared by an unbeatable mother-son team: Stamatia, who puts that extra touch of tradition and instinct to her cooking, and chef Nikos, who adds a touch of respectful innovation, all for a terrific result.Seafood is always fresh thanks to the tireless husband and father who catches most everything himself, meats are of top quality and well cooked, salads are fresh and generous, appetizers are divine. Atmosphere is relaxing, service is great, prices are reasonable. For a better experience, avoid Greek eating "rush hours" and give a chance to Stamatia to greet you with her warn smile and to Nikos to serve you in a professional yet friendly manner and talk with you about everything, from island traditions and cooking, to bass playing and the Red Hot Chilly Peppers...!Whether for lunch or dinner, "Stamatia" is definitely one of the top choices on Skyros island.

If you want to eat the best food in Skyros Island you must eat in this restaurant⦠The only negative thing is that the tavern is not next to the beachâ¦. Best food and very fair prices⦠(maybe the only tavern in the islandâ¦..)Full recommendedâ¦..
