We had an excellent and reasonably priced set lunch at this restaurant which is located alongside the route nationale. We took an outside table under the vines and enjoyed the sunshine. The menu is interesting but definitely not for vegetarians. There are supplements for some menu choices but, generally, the 17 euro set menu covered starter, main, dessert, coffee and wine. Closed Tuesday evening and all day Wednesday.

We had a dinner there with friends (9 persons). The atmosphere was great, nice wood table outside with colored lights and live music. But the food was quite disappointing: expensive, some time cold. The rice coming with the dish was almost burned (and too dry). I would not recommend it for the quality of the food considering the price. The salt marshes are near, but you donât see them.Probably better for a drink.

The background music was not only loud but cringeworthy. Stick to classical if you don't want to offend. Service excellent. As usual in this sort of restaurant the dishes go from excellent to bad: so the entrées are always very good, le plat principal OK and the desserts ... well, better just take a coffee. Honorable exception for the crème catalan.

Charming french restaurant and "salon de the" close to the lagoon of the village "peyriac de mer", where you could, taste sweet food (cheesecakes, tiramisu, lemon cake...) And salty food(zucchini tart, carrots tart, delicatessen plate, cheese plate...) Wi
Had breakfast here a couple of times this month. Orange juice, croissants, bread butter, jam and a hot drink. Good value. We sat outside in the sun as the walled courtyard is a real sun trap. The lady we spoke to,Lucie was very helpful and even let my wife borrow her sunglasses as Viv had left hers at the give. It was a pleasure to spend time there.Only open at weekends right now but they intend to increase opening hours in the Summer.Have breakfast there, you won't be disappointed.

Le Comptoir was recomended to us by the camping recepcionist close to this restaurant and indeed worths a visit. The food was great, the service quick and friendly, nice decor and general atmosphere quite positive. At the end, prices weren't too high and we left quite happy and pleased. If in the surroundings again, this is a place to return and we recomend a visit without any doubt.

Hidden at the far end of the harbor, a very nice and pleasant restaurant with a choice of several menus (the cheapest one costs â¬13.50). Very clean, lots of locals, charming waitresses, unpretentious atmosphere and very good fish and seafood. We will definitely go back.

Attached to a small local supermarket, it does not look like an attractive option, but appearances can be deceptive. There is a good atmosphere and the locals are a friendly bunch. Outside, glass of wine in the sunshine is generous and very palatable, just as well as the other side of the supermarket is a gigantic winery with landmark stainless steel tanks. Inside a medium sized restaurant with good wholesome cooking and a sensible wine list - all very satisfying. One does not come here for the view but everything else works very well indeed.

Since the restaurant opened at the end of March 2017 we have eaten there seven times, both with friends and as a couple. It is a pure delight to have a restaurant of this quality in the village. The husband and wife team who own and run the restaurant are professional and have developed a winning formula. Excellent fresh, tasty, local produce, cooked by an obviously well trained and talented chef (Fabien) complemented by wines of the region - what is there not to like. Front of house Anais remembers your aperitif favourites and the style of wine you prefer as well as any food preferences you may have. All served in a light, bright, contemporary setting. The main menu changes monthly and consists of 3 starters (meat, fish and vegetarian) 5 main courses (2 meat, 2 fish and a vegetarian) 3 deserts and a cheese plate. The lunchtime menu is good value and varies every day.If you are lucky enough to be in this part of the world and looking for a first class restaurant at a very affordable price - try it - you won't be disappointed.

A small, modern restaurant, pleasantly decorated. We received a warm welcome and were happy to take the daily midday menu.A good, honest meal - a nice salad with serrano ham, followed by a really tasty duck leg and a tarte aux pommes for dessert. Ameal for two, with a demi of red wine and coffee for under 35 euros? Who could possibly complain. We had more than sufficient, served quickly and without fuss. I would happily return and try something more adventurous next time.

Everything about Le Potager works well. The decor is well coordinated whilst feeling relaxed, the eating spaces are busy but not cramped (choose the rear garden under a huge fig tree if possible), the staff are friendly and very helpful and, most importantly, the food is excellent. The menu is not huge, thank goodness, and the choices of grilled meats and fish and vegetables are wonderful. The homegrown tomato menu is also worth a try for starters, as is the pigs trotter terrine. From starter to pudding, everything was beautifully flavoured and fresh, and the Le Potager Syrah and Chardonnay were a great match and very reasonable. We paid â¬208 for 5 people, aperitifs, starters, mains, puddings and 2 bottles of wine, great value for this quality. And the best bit is the overall experience, relaxed, unpretentious and well fed!
