Friendly service- they were patient with our lack of italian and helpful with the menu. We had a very reasonable fixed price fish menu including starters, pastas, mains, sides, waters and wine for 25 euro each. Very good value and all tasty. The clam and zucchini pasta is particularly recommended as is the lemon sorbet dessert (extra)

Here invite me local friend. The person who knows, where to eat good. He knows the owner. We eat a lot and everything. Exellent. Why I rate only three? Because for me, should be place renovate. But, the interier can be exellent also for people, which likes domestic, local feeling.

this proved an excellent choice in Scilla: breathtaking location right upon the shore, watching the sea in front and the Scilla castle on the top left; mediterranean cuisine with great combination of fresh ingredients (mezzelune al pescespada e gamberi were gorgeous, as it was the filetto di alalunga con patate e cipolla di tropea); good choice of local wines; very professional service completed the great experience. Finally price / quality ratio was very convenient in general and especially for us living outside Italy

Had dinner with friends. Our group was a little chaotic, with people arriving in waves. We had chosen the place because of their declared attention for special dietary needs. We were disappointed, mainly because of the service and for the continuous mistakes to take into account dietary requirements (three times wrong !). Still, value for money when you consider food and price we paid; also good wines for very competitive price. But, there are better places in Scilla to have dinner.

We were attracted to the place by the outside sitting area. It is right by the waters edge and adjacent to where the local fishing boats are slipped - quite beautiful. We ordered what we we were told was the specialty of the house which was the swordfish panini which we found to be OK but not worth going there just for that. On our visit we were disturbed by numerous stray cats loitering for scraps, something that is off putting. The waiter did however realise this and was out there regularly moving them on.

Traditional and local food in a nice bistrot. We serve just local wines, local bread, focacce, cheeses, sausages, parmigiana...Come to taste and enjoy!
We had, unfortunately, some mediocre meals in Scilla. But we ended every evening on an up-note by having a glass of wine and desert at this charming wine bar. If weather permits, sit outside and enjoy the old town. The staff was friendly and helpful. They recommended an excellent prosecco that we enjoyed on our hotel balcony.

We have found this small location because it was after 14:00 and the majority of the restaurants were closed. We had to walk a little from the beach but it worth. We had spaghetti con coze (musscles) and Panini burger. The pasta was cooked perfectly and my wife enjoyed it, while I had the burger with Parmesan, rucolla, cherry tomatoes and onions (local type). I am very grateful that they didn't put any ketchup or mayo on the burger because it will simply had destroyed it. The meat was cooked and juicy and all other ingredients very fresh.I highly recommend this location.

After a long day of walking up to the Castello and then down to the beach, it was a real pleasure to find this super-comfortable deli. There were several draft beers to choose from, the "spada pesce" sandwich excellent, and the setting a few feet from the water with a view of Sicily spectacular.

On our last night in Reggio we decided to take my family that live there, out to dinner as a goodbye meal. It did not disappoint! Everything was absolutely fabulous! The food, the ambiance, the service, the owners....a true gem. The food is all native to the Calabrian region, and it was absolutely delicious. It is worth the trip to get there...you will love it! I plan on coming back when in Italy again
