we had a dinner me and my gf ,the food was mediocre and the staff was cold and unfriendly with us without any reason , they left us with our empty plate for 20 minutes and we had to call the sever to ask him to clean the table and have dessert .. i hope this was just a bad day because we did not felt welcome and we will not return anyway . i suggest to make some customers service improvements

As a visitor to Dublin it is always good to be taken by a colleague to one of their favourite restaurants and Sparks proved a great choice. Close to the office we will definitely come again! I had a perfectly cooked salmon steak with asparagus wrapped in serano ham, cream sauce, crushed potatoes and mushrooms with onions. Divine. The fish could not have been better prepared and the flavours were perfectly balanced. Compliments to the chef for creativity and presentation. The place had a modern bistro vibe and the staff were really friendly and rightly proud of their cuisine and wines.Hi John,Thank you for this fabulous review, really appreciate your kindness to describe your dinning experience @ Sparks. I ate here around 6pm. I didnât have a reservation but still got a table just with the note that they need the table back at 7 but that was fine for me and they prepared the dish really fast. I ordered pollo al funghi. It was really good and well arranged but in my opinion was the price a bit too high because the chicken wasnât perfect. But in general I would recommend the restaurant. Maybe Iâll just take a different dish next time. Naralli, Getting reviews like yours ranks among our favourite things!We could not ask for a better compliment. We booked a table as its usually quite busy. We were shown to our table straight away, but were waiting awhile on menus, seems like staff was changing over from morning crew to evening. Menu serves a wide range of snacks and meals, we ordered tea/coffees and eggs Benedict and a goats cheese salad. Both dishes were excellent but service was a little slow on the day (only reason its 4 stars not 5). Highly recommend for lunch with family/friends. And will be back again as love the menu, great range to suit everyone from healthy eating conscious and tasty treats.

Very cosy place, enjoyed the atmosphere. Good place to catch up with old friends as you can chat easily it's not too loud. Menu catered for most appetites. Staff were friendly without being too fussy.Enjoyable

Ate here as a family of 6 including one vegetarian and one fussy eater but there was tons of choice for everyone on the menu. The starter platter was particularly amazing. Bringing our own wine was an absolute bonus for a mid-week treat at budget prices. Definitely definitely going back. Oh and super nice staff too!!!
