Santa Cristina d'Aro (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsantə kɾisˈtinə ˈðaɾu]) is a small town in the Aro valley (Baix Empordà region) at the junction of the road from Girona/Barcelona to Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Palamós. Not your typical tourist restaurant so be prepared for an evening out. Beautiful setting with a cosy feel and yet very professional, the owner is French and knows what quality is about. The menu was varied in choice and price, we ordered the tuna and t-bone - both excellent choices. Very friendly service. We had our three children with us (teenagers) whom enjoy a nice meal but if you're looking for chips and a simple steak then this is not the restaurant you should go for. We would definitely return.

Local charming in the center of Sant Feliu de Guixols, specialized in vermouth, appetizers, wines and gastronomic tapas.
We stopped here âon specâ for lunch today and were so glad we did. We chose one of the set tapas menus, which was excellent value and included wine or vermouth, and we added cod croquettes (superb) and their own style of patatas bravas, which were not what we expected, but were just wonderful. Sitting outside in the street was great, as a small band played and boys played football. Best of all was the friendly, really helpful service from the lady who I assume is the owner, who told us about the food and recommended a lovely vermouth for us to try - thank you. Recommended without hesitation - seek it out, or if you find yourself passing, stop a while!thank you very much! We hope see you if you come back to St. Feliu.

There are places that take us back to our childhood: summer evenings, picnics by the spring, your first bike... La Font Picant is one of those places. An antique restaurant in an old railway station, a meeting point for the people of Sant Feliu, Santa Cri
Nicely situated in an old railway station with a peaceful garden. Friendly service and live music. Food is ok, a lot of meat, not much choice for vegetarians. Pleasant experience but a bit high priced compared to other places.

The restaurant is located on the premises of the Club de Golf d'Aro Mas Nou, family atmosphere, the menu is traditional Catalan and Spanish with a great selection of wines and spirits.
This is a club house for the golf course. Staff were very nice and the service was good. There was nothing exceptional about the dining area and bar but the outdoor seating area was quite nice. A stop for a beer after a round is what it is set up for mainly. There is a more formal dining area in one part but the lights were out and no one was there.Me alegro de que le hayan gustado nuestras instalaciones, le animo a que vuelva a visitarnos y pruebe nuestras especialidades culinarias, estoy seguro de que serán de su agrado, reciba un cordial saludo.

Familiar restaurant with a large offer of little dishes and skewers . Spanish, French, Mediterranean and vegetarian kitchen
This is the mediterranean place one looks for when travelling the Costa. Great food, fairly priced, friendly (english speaking) staff in a nice terrace setup (or inside). What a location to share food with family and friends. We decided to return this week and enjoy this new restaurant again. Do make reservations as the place is already popular.(Oh, and they do have fantastic mojito's)Dear MRE007,Many thanks for your kind words! We are very pleased to learn that you enjoyed your visit. An absoutely great restaurant - deservedly populareitblicals snd tourists. Josep and Stefanie explained the menu. Limited la carte but the 3 set menus are fantastic at 12.90, 17.90 and 23.90 (group) incl. 3 courses, wine, bread, water, coffee and taxes. They even ordered a taxi back to hotel for us even though it was their lunch rush. Hughly recommend the courgette cake, entrecote steak and mici (lamb and spiced pork sausages). Bread is traditional sour-dough rolls - wonderful with garlic mayo (allioli). Cannot say too many good things about this restaurant. P.S. they make their own limoncello.

I have not eaten here for seven months so it was a pleasure to return. The presentation of the menu has changed as have some of the prices and dishes but the quality was arguably better than ever.Delicious âamuse boucheâ, succulent scallops and tasty salmon tartare for starters. The Sea Bass was fresh and beautifully prepared and washed down with an unusual but excellent Verdejo wine. We declined desserts but enjoyed a few â petits foursâ. We had some coffee. The bill was incredibly reasonable. Overall a great experience.
