A beautiful setting, in the nature of the Umbrian countryside. Simple and genuine flavors, scents and colors of tradition. Cuisine and hospitality all Italian!
This is a gorgeous establishment in an excellent location. It was our first time dining here and we were welcomed by the entire staff. The food was cooked from the freshest ingredients and the pasta was among the best I have ever had. Come any time of year! When the weather is nice, the terrazza is a wonderful place to watch a sunset with a glass of wine and enjoy a meal. When the weather is less desirable, the dining room is a cozy place that exudes local charm. Eat here! You will not be disappointed! And if you are looking for a place to stay in the area, check out their accommodations. We toured a few of the beautiful rooms. They are a perfect place to relax and stay awhile!

It really has to said this was an eating experience. Set in a beautiful small village the location is perfect. It was such a beautiful day we ate outside.Wonderful warm professional service was followed by the most exquisite food. It really could not be faulted.I ate the goose to start and then the duck. Perfect flavours along with perfect presentation made this a true culinary delight. The restaurant also has a very good wine list so whatever you choose to eat can be washed down with great bottle of wine.I finished off with the panna cotta which was a lovely lite refreshing end to what was a truly delicious meal.If in the region of Todi this restaurant is a must.

Recommended by another local restaurant with no tables available and we were very, very pleased. Everything was excellent. We were the first table seated, but the place filled up quickly (all locals, we were the only tourists). Plus, a nonstop stream of men coming in to pick up carry-out pizza orders. (Pay attention US pizza shops: theyâd walk up to the bar and have a glass or two of wine while waiting for their order.) The service was excellent. Quick, responsive and very informative. The food was outstanding. By Italian standards, a large menu and nothing we tried disappointed. Definitely worth a visit if youâre in the area.

Excellent food in a lovely, well renovated, historic little village. Food was really good, lovely wine and very friendly staff! We would definitely go back again if we were around.Highly recommended and don't forget to visit the smallest theater in the world - Teatro Della Concordia, which is just next door.

We were staying nearby and our host recommended this restaurant so we thought weâd try. Our Italian is virtually non existent so decided to email to see if we could get a table for lunch as there were 8 of us with a toddler. Email came back promptly and in English saying very sorry but they were booked but could take us in the evening and they opened at 7 so we booked. We were greeted by our waitress who spoke very good English and explained the menu and the set menu which we all opted for. What a treat. We had a mixed starter which was all fresh and tasty and had a choice of two pastas or gnocchi. Most of us had the gnocchi which was so light and tasty not like the gnocchi we have at home. We were then given a choice of a chicken dish or pork. Most of us had the pork which was thinly sliced and served cold but so tasty and the chicken cacciatore was very tasty too. Dessert was a tiramisu or a semifreddo. Most went for the tiramisu but I had the semifreddo which was lovely and creamy with chunks of chocolate. We also had some house wine. The set menu was â¬30 per person. Amazing value. We loved it so much we went back a second time on our last night. We were greeted like old friends by Massimo who doesnât speak much English but he was lovely and friendly and made a huge fuss of our granddaughter and gave her a flower on both occasions which she loved. On this second visit we had the set menu and this time the main was wild boar stew. If itâs on the menu try it. It was delicious. Do try this little gem but book. It does get very busy.

A business colleague took our meeting and evening dinner here, and what a great place!!! Very friendly owner and staff, the food was amazing, and the location absolutely picture perfect... the actual building a beautiful converted farm house with old wood beams everywhere. I was told the hotel rooms are also excellent... very well recommended!!!

Marsciano is not a very touristy place, however there are a good number of agriturismos and villas in the surrounding area, especially the lovely hills to the west of the town. The owner of our agriturismo recommended this place as the best place to eat in town and we were not disappointed, going there twice the week we stayed locally up near Collelungo. It's a family run place and frequented principally by local people, though they must have a regular stream of foreign visitors in the summer as they have created an English menu and many of the staff speak very good English. The welcome and service was very friendly. The menu is appealing, with lots of Umbrian dishes done in an interesting way as well as staples from the grill and pizzas. I had the beef filet in sagrantino one night and the pigeon the other night, both of which were excellent, as well as great pasta dishes as primi. There are about 6-8 tables outside on a roadside terrace(pedestrianised street) which you might need to reserve ahead for, as well as lots of room inside. I'd definitely recommend a visit here!

12 tables plenty of delicious comfort food, hospitality and sympathy. Lovely terrace overlooking the Umbrian countryside, to enjoy your dinner during the warm summer evenings.

The ideal place to be reached by motorbike: road is fantastic, with a not bad asphalt, landscape is amazing and the food here is stunning! You will enjoy a lot of typical amenities. Cold cuts (raw shoulder and mortadella in turf) with hot salad cake, beans with pork rind, "coratella" (delicious offal), noodles (handmade 3 hours before) with black truffle and goose sauce, stewed boar, mixed grill, English trifle, coffee and after-meal drink! Podium proclaimed for the offal from Perugia, it's an anthology. Service quick and professional, with a real high cost/quality balance.

Basico Is an absolutely gorgeous restaurant in the center of beautiful Todi. It is the perfect place to meet friends for a delicious lunch or dinner, and whether you sit inside the remodeled space (stone walls, arches and wood beamed ceilings) or outside in the square, you will enjoy the ambiance. The service at Basico was really good even though it was a busy summer evening when I was there. The food was very fresh, especially the freshly made pasta! You can watch how it is made which is a lot of fun to see. It was a memorable visit and I can't wait to return.Goodmorning, thanks for the review. We are very happy for the words you expressed about our restaurant. We are waiting for you for a new Basico experience
