I rate this 4 for the overall feel, since the servers were kind and helpful and the location is beautiful. Some of the dishes can definitely improve. I recommend 9 cocette, the tuna and the pork cheek. The 1000 feuille can be improved with fresh vegetables instead of frozen (if they were fresh, they were very soggy) otherwise the tapenade was very good. All desserts can be more tasty. The limoncello ice cream was the only "really good" dessert. If all others are bought frozen, I'd recommended you stick to ice cream selection for desserts.

Our hotel included Le Canard de Bois on a list of around 5 recommended restaurants in town, all turned out to be excellent. We got a very warm welcome from the exuberant patron who managed to accommodate us in his cosy restaurant on a chilly evening. We had first class tapas and did not manage to migrate to a main meal, although what we saw being served around us looked fab. The whole place has a great atmosphere and is conducive to chatting with your neighbours and making new friends! Excellent! Thank you!

Came across this restaurant on our first evening in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and had a great evening! Food was delicious and portions generous, I had the bull (taureau). Next time I will try one of their big salads which also looked amazing! Strongly recommend La Cour, great atmosphere, tasty food and succulent wine!!

Affaire De femmes et en famille 3 generations dans l etablissement pour vous servir . Produits frais et fait maison
Went here on TA reports and were not disappointed. For starters my wife chose the baked goats cheese that was accompanied by a delicious goats cheese ice cream. I had the oysters, super. Mains were equally tasty, Lemon sole with a great sauce and the local beef with seps sauce. The fishes of the day were brought round for selection as I gather is normalThe rum baba was big and VERY rummy! Chef came to see the clients at end of service, nice touch. Well worth paying a little bit more than normal for a real foodie experience.

Opened every evening. Small and unusual restaurant, specialized in grilled bull and local meats, tapas, bone marrow, italiano & iberico antipasti, vegetable gratins,... all home made prepared at the minute. Good wine and famous music... No strollers, no a
-Location: 3/5 (in the town center, along Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer main pedestrian street)-Menu: 4/5 (possibility to taste some food sourced from Spain, e.g. ham and bull)-Service: 2/5 (terribly slow and disorganised)-Price quality: 2/5 (high prices compared to quality and above all service)We ordered Spanish ham and bone marrow as appetiser, and bull steak as main course. We ended up with a tarte tartin. Average quality food, below average preparation. Slow and disorganised service

We showed up at 6pm and were told by the owners they didnât open until 7pm. We explained all we really wanted were some oysters and white wine. They accommodated us, and we are glad they did. Oysters were fantastic, they had three types ranging from local (good) to some of Frances Best ...Gillardeau (fantastic). Hour, a bottle of Chablis and 30 oysters later...we were gone. Perfect time, cute place. Wish we could come here on a Saturday night in the summer!

We have eaten here before, last year, and are happy to return again! This is mainly a fish restaurant, all of the dishes are freshly prepared and cooked using local ingredients. We forgo starters ordering the Dorade Royale and the Assiette Casita- a plate of prawns, cuttlefish, squid and a fillet of local fish. Both came with a timbale of rice and aubergines. The dessert menu is also well chosen, and we enjoyed rum Baba and raspberry pannacotta. With a half litre of rose wine and two coffees, the bill was a very reasonable Eu77, excellent value for the quality of food Service was friendly and efficient, the staff responding with humour and patience to my limited French and equally happy to speak English. There were some regulars eating here, always a good sign, and this restaurant is a significant step up from most in the resort.

Arriving for lunch at 1:30 PMSeveral people eating and four table free on the terrace We were not welcomed âkitchen closedâ. At 1:30, in a seaside fashion place. What do you think of this? The same people complaining they donât earn enough but not ready to work for it.Disappointing.Never mind we went back to âla maison de Jeanne â we highly recommend with welcoming staff and great food Bonjour Ãtre méchant pour rien peut provoquer des maladies..... We hadnât made any reservation but arrived quite early for lunch, and it was no problem finding a table. We shared a âPlanche Bohèmeâ (â¬26), a platter with cold cut meat, sun dried tomatoes, a small salad and bread. It was supposed to include manchego cheese too, which we remembered a short while after receiving the platter. We asked the waitress about the cheese, she apologized for having forgotten it and shortly brought a plate of cheese for us. It was all quite tasty, but we found it quite expensive considering the amount of food we got.We thank you for your comment, but we want to clarify some things : our dishes are thought for 1 person, but you choose it for 2 people ... the delicatessen served is a premium Iberian charcuterie (pata negra bellota) which does not have the price of a basic ham, our concept is simplicity, but quality, If you want to eat a lot of food ( not specially tasty ) for low prices, you can find places in Saintes Maries de la Mer,Finally, you tasted a dish for 1 person at 2 people for 13 ⬠per person! ... for premium products, in a cosy place, the price is not so high!
