Visited for lunch in early September and sat in the outside seating area.French local food was the main element of the menu which is changed frequently. The food was presented in a very attractive way with substantial portions.Service itself was exceptional, very friendly and attentive. We were also able to chat with the owner who came to greet us.A wonderful selection of organic ânaturalâ wines.A great spot for a relaxed lunch with friends or a special occasion.Je tenais à vous remercier pour ce super commentaire merci de votre visite dans mon établissement Michael Labbé

Beautiful setting overlooking a wider stretch of the Herault, friendly welcome. We were four adults and a 1 year old. We arrived at 8.30 without booking and were swiftly seated. No problem about bringing a baby and ideally seated next to another family not inconveniencing other diners. Service was prompt, drinks first and our order taken. After that it went pear shaped. We were happy drinking, chatting to our neighbour and failed to notice that our order hadn't arrived. We queried and sure enough there was a problem. Our starters arrived within 10 minutes and although over an hour late they were fine.we had barely put our forks down when the main course was placed in front of us. Unfortunately all four dishes were cold, it was so late we couldn't bring ourselves to request hot replacements. The food would have been excellent if hot and served on time. The waitress who had taken our order was clearly annoyed and blaming us for the problem. Our plates were taken away before one of us had finished and desert was dumped in front of us. We were told we should have asked and our main course would have been reheated, not what we wanted. The manager/owner sent over complimentary digestifs which were a weak apology for rocket fuel. Maybe we were unlucky but the appalling attitude of the waitress means that they have lost our custom.

Stumbled upon this restaurant one evening. We had our best dinner from our trip to Pezenas. I had the pork tenderloin and my grandkids had the raviolis. Everything served had a unique flavor and was cooked to perfection. We then had the dessert of day and that too was delicious.

Typical French cuisine with modern twist. Good service, delicious food and excellent value! A cool welcoming escape from hot weather, conveniently just across the road from a large free car park. Unable to visit in July as closed for a week, but looking forward to doing so in August.

We ate at LâAtelier twice this week and each and every course was delicious. The experience was made even more memorable by Johanna, who was friendly, charming and a passionate advocate for local products and merchants. Great food (and great value for money) made even better thanks to Johanna.

Excellent dinner, large portions superb Chateaubriand. Lacks in atmosphere but excellent value for money. Fairly limited menu that looking at other reviews doesn't seem to change that often but wouldn't hesitate to go back. 5 stars for food and value. 3 for atmosphere.

We had eaten here once before. It was a dinner before a nearby entertainment performance and the food was as good as reviews had said it would be but we were somewhat rushed to the point of not fully appreciating just how good Hansiâs was.So, after my wifeâs massage, I suggested that we take lunch here and we are really glad that we did. We were not in a rush and the place was full. It was a Wednesday and it seemed as though many of the patrons knew Hansi; so, this was not a touristy place. Both my wife and I order the luncheon menu without the dessert. I started with a unique salad chevre chaudâthe goat cheese was not on a piece of toast but enmeshed in a pastry similar to filo dough. The tiny diced cucumbers and carrots and (I think) bacon with the herbs were very special. My wife started with a grave lox dish which was not so unique but very good.My wife ordered a main course of cod well dressed and tasty while I ate the moules farcies which was terrific. We shared a half liter of house rosé and a liter of San Pelligrino and paid just under 50 euros. The service was extraordinary since Hansi, one waitress, and â perhaps â two cooks under Hansiâs close supervision served a full restaurant.

Big smiles and lots of welcoming warmth from the lady in charge of the dining room. A smallish menu but judging by everything going on in the open kitchen, the food is consistently excellent. Not an intimate environment, this place non the less creates a certain vibe that is âlocalâ and informal...Thank you very much, we are delighted to know that you had a good time !

We've eaten at L'Asparagus several times and you always come away from there having had both an excellent meal and great service. Outdoors is a lovely setting, if it is too windy then the interior restaurant is very pleasant too. The service is first class, from the minute you sit down until the minute you leave. The main courses are served with an extensive array of delicious vegetables, after you've finished your meal you can visit their well stocked shop.

We have been coming to this restaurant for years. Diane and Jose have made us feel part of the family. The food is delicious. Tasty meats grilled on an open fire, fish prepared to perfection, best frites and gratin anywhere. During our 2 week stay in Bessan, our group ranged from 8 to 12 people, we ate there 4 times, and each meal is a delight. Outside on the beautiful terrace or inside the cozy restaurant, we have always enjoyed a terrific meal. Merci Diane and Joe!!
