We booked table through restaurant's own webpage and they did have table ready on time for us. We both took a three course menu which was really good. Staff was also great, but they only speak French. This was our best restaurant experience in Menton.

Decided to go to this restaurant for lunch while touring Roquebrune based on excellent reviews and were not disappointed. The staff was very helpful. Food was excellent, beautifully presented, and delicious. I had the best salad Nicoise ever here. The views are spectacular if you are sitting outside. What a wonderful, memorable place.

Very friendly and a warm welcome as you arrive. The restaurant was quite busy allthough it is not in the most touristy place. The restaurant had an okay atmosphere, but it was quite hectical. We had the beef tartar and one of the today's special, giant prawns and spagetti. The beef tartar portion was huge and the meat tender. It had a little too much roquefort cheese in it, but overall good. The pasta diah was also huge. The pasta was fresh and home made, but the sauce was quite tasteless and the giant prawn was clearly overcooked. Too bad as it could have been so much better. Might be worth a second try, but not quite sure.

We visited this very small restaurant during the lemon festival in Menton. The selection was quite small, but the food was well prepared. All in all this was an average experience, where you got what you can reasonably expect.Thank you Mr Buffe. A beautiful, elegant restaurant with a superb view over the bay of Menton. All in white, including waiter's clothes; a warm welcome by the "Patronne"; the "Menu de dégustation" with 6 dishes from "Amuse bouche" to Chocolate mignardises" was perfect. Great bread, too! The wine-list has ONE white and ONE rosé at 50cl content which is perfect for two persons, less than a full bottle (drinking and driving problem) and more than a half bottle (not enough to last through dinner). A wonderful evening. The place is really lovely the owner and the staff are friendly and the menu is really good a lot of variety and it's good value for money too. I had the beef carpaccio as a starter and it was delicious with a fresh salad sitting in the middle and slices of Parmesan. Son had a pizza and they bought it to him while I had my starter wife had a salad and then we both had a pizza she liked her tuna and I loved my Napoletana. Nice wine by the carafe and a rather tasty grappa at the end. Got a good vibe and there were a lot of people there and quite rightly.

Food, service, decoration, life music, everything is nice. Really a good place to have a romantic dinner, with kind service and quality food. There is a guitarist and singer not invading and not too loud, just giving a good ambiance. The best restaurant in this area.

We arrived at 11.15 am; most tables had 'reserved' signs on them but were unoccupied. We found and sat at a table without a 'reserved' sign, whereupon a very rude waiter declined to serve us a coffee. A colleague of his then agreed to serve us, but was prohibited from doing so by the first waiter. Pity as the location is excellent, but we will never return.We wonder whether the owner knows that customers are being turned away!Hello, thank you for your comment.The restaurant does not have many tables as you could see and we are fully booked almost every week-end. You sat on a « reserved » table without asking anyone. Usually, in the « modern western world » :), you wait someone to place you.I suggest that next time: you book, and introduce yourself at the entrance to get your table as everyone does.Thanks for understanding.Regards.PLT
