Go to the beach bar down the road for a beer, then come here for a late lunch of limpets and vinho verde. There is no better way to spend a sunny summer day!
A nice place, inside the municipal market of Ribeira Grande. Where you can accompany our appetizers with excellent wines and fantastic craft beers.
SÃtio a visitar cinco estrelas tanto no atendimento como nos produtos.Não deixar de aparecer pois o mercado da ribeira grande e o bar o bar é de conhecer e degustar.

Discover a delicious variety of the best regional Azorean cuisine, focused on local seafood and fish and the tenderness of Azorean meat. Made with quality and respect for the fresh ingredients and tradition of the Azores.
Our hotel recommendations here bang on! This restaurant exceeded our expectations. We had the best octopus dishes ever. The fish was tender and well prepared. The seafood soup was excellent and the shrimp was so flavourful. Our server was very attentive and the view of the ocean from the balcony was beautiful. We went again the next day and had the same wonderful experience. What a pleasure to read your review @Adkfamily! It represents our everyday work to offer a great experience to our customers. We hope we can have your visit again. Best regards

We had several times dinner in this fancy restaurant. The menu card is an iPad,You can choose yourself the language. Every evening there are different choices for fish and shellfish, meat (pork, lamb, beef, goat and even rabbit) and even a good choice in vegetarian dishes. You make your choices and this is directly send to the kitchen. Service was amicable and quick but with poor English knowledge. All the dishes we tried were at least as good as expected, the rabbit is a real recommendation.
Located at city local market with realky nice views and local food and snacks. Nice cocktails list. Great for relax with live music and cool atmosphere. 1 minute walking distance from the beach. Near the main roads and easy to find and park the car.
Such a great place! It was nice to meet Filipe. He welcomed us like friends. Great food! We liked it so much we went three times in our six days spent in Ribeira Grande.

Had dinner here twice during our vacation and the food and service were exceptional. Loved the blood pudding with pineapple appetizer (sounds strange but it is fabulous) and of course the seafood was just wonderful. Highly recommend a visit to this local fine dining restaurant. You wonât be disappointed.

San Miguel is a small island with plenty of fish restaurants. O P is one of the more expensive ones, but not by Canadian standards. One of us had swordfish, the piece covered the length of the plate and my partner had tuna. Both were huge servings, plus a bottle of local wine. Service was friendly and punctual, there was only one other table of guests. The owner was a bit over talkative, to the other table, but friendly enough. So long as you use a GPS you'll find it. Although the restaurant is very close to the shoreline, the kitchen must have the view, presumably it inspires the chef. Definitely recommend it.Thank you very much for your evaluation ...it was a pleasure to serve you ...have nice vacation

If you want to play the mysterious fish weight vs portion unknown cost game; go here... no menu, pick fish of a board as you walk in feeling slightly deceived and confused by your waiter over portions and fish types, sit at a table with tiny windows and a slight glimpse of the sea past the drinks fridge, TV on and radio blaring in the corner. Get bill and realise the whole fish you bought is in fact 2 portions... not 1 as it is conveyed on the board... see other similar reviews in this thread. Whilst the fish was ok, misleading customers does not work in the long run... youâre better off at cervejaria cascata nearby where honesty prevails...

We enjoyed the outdoor patio.Thank you for your review. We're glad you liked your experience in our restaurant. We hope to see you again!Best regards,Alabote Restaurant
