From the outside this looks like any one of thousands of gasthauses in Germany but step inside the door and you'll find a modern restaurant with a lovely bier garden on the side. We visited here on a Tuesday and the restaurant was full so we were seated in the bier garden. A peaceful setting, and even with a full restaurant the service was prompt and helpful. Parking is a problem. There's a small hof to the rear of the restaurant but most parking is on the street.The meal started out with a small treat from the chef, a "spargel crème" with baguette. Great way to start a meal. I ordered Saurbraten with Klose and a salad, the wife had red bass with homemade potato salad, a sister-in-law had duck liver, the other sister-in-law ordered the salmon spaghetti. All of us raved over our enterees but I can only speak for myself when I say that I've never had better Saurbraten ever! The menu Is large and varied, preparation exquisite, atmosphere warm and service prompt and friendly.This should be a Michelin starred restaurant.. Well done Traube staff. We enjoyed it so much we've decided to celebrate a special birthday there on Friday evening.

I was very satisfied with the food: everything was very good and was not what you can eat at home or buy at the supermarket. Fantasy and skills are the immaterial ingredients that transform the selected raw material into an unforgettable experience. The man who served us was very kind. On the other hand, also the price was unforgettable and maybe wine was a little bit overpriced.

An old friend an me love to come here for dinner, when I go to Europe.This place provides really authentic and excellent food Portugiese style, more exactly many dishes are similar to Madeira. We this time enjoyed some Bacalhau and grilled beef...Drinks and wine from Portugal we had as well.Service is also very friendly.Only point: Often we have to make reservation earlier, otherwise we might face problems to get a seat...

I invited a relative (who has lived in Karlsruhe about 40 years) to eat here. He had no idea what tapas were but was willing to try. Now he keeps talking about bringing his wife here ;-)The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice (although it can get loud if a large group is sitting right next to you) and service is extremely attentive and helpful. The food is very yummy with effort put into achieving that typical Spanish taste explosion (it doesn't beat actually eating in Spain, but full marks for trying). When it came to paying the bill, I was pleasantly surprised. Very good food & drink for a very decent price.I can't wait to be back in Karlsruhe to come here again ;-)

This a nice mixed cuisine restaurant in a quiet part of town. It has a medium sized interior with few outside tables.The food includes Asian, Greek, Italian and German so much choice of cuisine though menu is small.We had a Greek salad which was good with large feta chunks. The white fish of the day was nicely grilled. The turkey fillets was a large dish with lots of salads and easy too share.A good comfort place. Enjoyed it. Attentive service too.

I went here with a party of five and we enjoyed the reserved yet attentive hospitality, the quiet atmosphere and of course the beautiful and tasty food. The waiter friendly guides the guests through their selection of drinks and food.Around 10 tables occupy the room and there is room anough to walk between them withouth disturbing other guests. Suffice to say that conversations from nearby tables remain private. The food is of a rare quality. The cooking is obviously done with heart and soul, ie. not your regular professional restaurant type of preparation and this gives a very authentic, warming and delicious taste. The menu has a choice of meat, fish and pasta dishes.Servings are on ceramic colored plates or bowls. (I think the food at SAF deserves other i.e. less opresssive kitchenware as well as non paper napkins). I will not get into detail of our meals, go find out yourself, but just highlight the beautiful arancini arranged on a plate with freshly(!) grated parmesan. Succulent, not fat, echnically perfect. Although they rested too long after preparation and had cooled down too much. I suspect it was very busy in the kitchen. The wine list is adequate but nothing fancy. Italian wines are an art in itself and SAF made a fine selection offered for very reasonable prices. I can only heartily recommend the place.

We were looking for a good restaurant, that could accommodate 12 people on rather short notice and that opens early.What we found was a nice small restaurant with a half separated 2nd room, where we all fit in.I had a serving of Tagliolini with seafood (cannot remember the name. It was NOT frutti di mare, but disks of calamari, clams, lots of small shrimps and one big one still in the shell). It was a nice meal and the others enjoyed theirs too.A special tread seems to be the deserts that are served. I didn't have any, but the others were quite happy with their tiramisu and some sort of ice cream.

Etwas versteckt als Clubhaus des TV Mörsch ist dieses Restaurant zu finden. Speziell zu empfehlen ist der sehr günstige Mittagstisch (Suppe+Salat+Hauptgang), der auch sehr rege genutzt wird. An manchen Tagen ist es tatsächlich nicht ganz einfach einen Platz zu bekommen. Das Essen ist sehr solide Küche die schmeckt (mazedonisch, aber auch deutsche Gerichte). Mein Favorit ist das Elsässer Schnitzel mit einer KnoblauchrahmsoÃe. Aus meiner Sicht, vor allem wegen des Preis- Leistungsverhältnisses absolut zu empfehlen.

The location of the restaurant is difficult to find and is at unexpected location in an industrial area. The welcome was warm-hearted and the menu offers a good choice. We started with the grilled peppers and filled mushrooms. Both were an excellent choice. Main courses were shank of lamb and gyros with tatziki. Outstanding choices. The owner is very friendly and a real greek. Free ouzoâs before we headed home. You will not be disappointed!
