Stumbled upon this bar whilst we were strolling around town. It is one of the cheapest places we found to have a drink with 1 euro for a beer and 2 euro for a glass of wine and they stocked my favourite drink "Cider". I don;t always find a bar that serves cider so this made my day. The staff were smiling all the time and offered to top up the complimentary snacks/nuts. There was sport on the big screen and you could order food if you wanted some, the prices looked cheaper than most but we had already eaten so didn't try it. We would visit again if we went back.

After riding ATV's like madmen on the cliffs of Porto Santo, defying death and reason a nice seafood spaghetti in a serene setting was just the thing i needed. Nice place, friendly for family or party people. Food was very nice, scene was exellent, service was meh.A swim in the Atlantic was for dessert.

During the Rota do Atum, a well known hotel was unwilling to deal with one of our party being allergic to fish. O Jorge was very willing and able to do so. It is this level of attention to detail and dealing with each person as an individual which makes O Jorge special.The tuna dishes were superb and, as usual in Madeira, portions were generous and the fillet steak was cooked to perfection. A casual atmosphere, as befits Porto Santo, in a quirky location makes O Jorge quite a special night out - long may it continue.Thank you, we were pleased that we were able to meet your needs. We appreciate your comment and sharing the good experience in our restaurant.

Dear customers. The bar during the winter is closed. Reopens on June 15 Wine bar specialized in Porto Santo wines by local winemaker and bar owner. Local drinks, dishes and local products for a fantastic gastronomical experience.

Delicious local wine and big variety of snacks to it. Although, there is no fresh fish so it is not a place for dinner. We were happy to have visited. We are a house of wines and snacks with confection of traditional cuisine. Thanks.

Is it the best steak in the world ?? I donât know, but it's fabulous !! The restaurant is located in the Porto Santo Tennis Club, a friendly place with good service and customer service also. The restaurant only works by reservation, then is to choose what kind of sauce you want to accompany the wonderful meat. You canât go to Porto Santo and donât go to Pita.

We visited this lovely restaurant twice during our two week stay in Porto Santo, once for lunch and once for dinner. It was, in our opinion, by far the best restaurant on the island and we visited many. Lovely setting, great vine shaded outdoor area, beautifully furnished and decorated dining room and fabulous food cooked and served with great enthusiasm by the lovely family owners. One of the few places to have a totally âdifferentâ menu. We shall miss it!Canât recommend this place highly enough....a must visit if youâre in Porto Santo. Itâs a little out of the way but they offer a free taxi service.

Special restaurant this one collected from our hotel and driven to the delightful setting of the establishment overlooking the bay and island. The staff were very helpful and couldnât do enough for us. Great help selecting a delightful wine to accompany our superb meal. Wish we could have eaten here more but unfortunately picked it on our last night. Courteous drive ferrried back to the hotel after the meal. Wonderful. And thank you to the staff

I went at lunch during the week (13h). The restaurant was empty what make it a strange experience. The staff was professional and the restaurant provided free transfer to my hotel. The vegetarian risotto was quite good.

If you are lucky enough to be on Porto Santo and enjoy some time in this little paradise you should definitely pair your stay with an as well paradisiac dinner at this place. Amazing view over the ocean, very tasteful food, nice atmosphere, that all rounded by very kind staff and a warmhearted owner. Especially praiseworthy was the disponibility of the staff to prepair extremely good vegan meals on request.

Delicious food, very nice and friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and location. Only the sea view is missing Prices a little higher than normal in the area but it was worth to pay for the value we got. Recommend!
