Nice Provencal restaurant (bistrot) on the main square of the village. Internal eating room (no airco), tables outside looking at the main square and in the backyard garden (best choice when it is hot weather).Typical dishes, good selection of beers and wines. They don't have menus, the waiter comes with a blackboard (100 x 150 cm) and show you the choices of the day.Available meat and fish. Quick service.

We were out for lunch and this looked pleasant. However, we weren't able to choose a table, even though only two other diners were there! We spoke with a pleasant and helpful waitress who spoke English with an American accent and chose the plat du jour, Lasagne. Eventually another waitress came with it and took it to the other couple and more or less insisted it was theirs, putting it on their table. We eventually got it, the Lasagne was ok but the salad looked as if it had been thrown on as an afterthought. As more customers arrived, more mix ups occurred, with two French ladies next to us getting quite upset over the way they were treated by one very sullen and unpleasant waitress. We just paid and left, we didn't even bother with coffee. This isn't an experience I would ever want to repeat.

My wife and I always make a point of eating at La Pastorale when we're on holiday in the area. It's nearly two years since we were last here, but the pleasant location and relaxed ambience, the high quality and reasonable price of the food, and the friendliness of the managers - Jessica and Martin - haven't changed. Lunch was a delight and we hope to return for more before we return home.

we went to Le Marrakech two times in the last weeks .. we didn't make a reservation but were very welcome both times .. we enjoyed the couscous (agneau and royale) and the second time also the tajine dish .. this small restaurant is really a gem .. it is somewhat outside the centre of town but it is definitely very much worth going

Authentic and tasty couscous dishes served. Something for everyone, including salads and vegetarian dishes. We could taste the fresh ingredients and enjoyed the quiet, outdoor atmosphere. The service was great/fast. It was nice that the staff spoke English! The mint tea after the meals really hit the spot too.

I have had several courses there, all delicious and served in modern style (it is not just about the food, but about the way they serve it) Good selection of local wines and helpful staff makes it as a good experience. Visited also by Michelin critics and taken as the best choice once you are in Manosque. And the price? Two complete courses with bottle of local wine for less then 100 EUR makes it as a good value as well.

"Au Palais des Cafes" is a charming tea room located next to the 'Saint Sauveur' Church. The drink is at the center of the tasting: Hot, with over eighteen kinds of coffees and fifty types of tea (Ceylon, India, China, Formosa, jasmine, no caffeine flavor
4pm and not eaten all day. Was strolling along looking for 'something' to eat and ended up here. Never experienced Libanese food but sitting here in the sunshine with flipflops and cold tapas (don't know the proper name) it was just perfect! Never seen the menu, I just let the waitress choose for me (sometimes you have to just dare). Friendly service.

I really couldn't fault our meal last night. The staff are absolutely charming, friendly & nothing is too much trouble. we both went for the 37euro menu - great value for money - the cabbage stuffed with duck & foie gras was superb. Thecafe gourmand has to be seen to be believed. All rounded off with a delicious calvados.A special thank you to the waiter who came after me after I forgot my glasses
