Antipasti, fresh pizzas, pastas, homemade lasagna and tiramisu biscuit soak in the warmth and generosity of the Italian cuisine. We have more then a hundred wines to discover. Southern flavors, tastes and colors, check out our menu and its unavoidable var
Food was OK, but expected more of it. It wasn't real Italian food, it missed a certain Italian touch in almost all dishes. I guess the only person with Italian roots must have been the person who does the dishes. The service though was very good.

If you are in area, this is a great, if not the best, option. The couscous is delicious. The couscous grains are extremely fine. Portions are large and there is a good amount of variety including the classic tagines and couscous. I've tried making making couscous at home and, given the price, this is a much better option. I believe they also do take-out.

Good food, good service, good time!Everything was delicious including the complimentary olives and potato salad. Yum! The vegetables in the couscous were properly cooked and retained their flavour. Portions are generous but save some room for dessert. The orange salad with mandarine ice cream was heavenly. Pastries were also excellent. It can be a bit tricky to reach La Rose Des Sables as it is on a narrow one way street right behind the railroad station. Be sure to reserve on the weekend. We're looking forward to going back soon.

I went to this restaurant with several members of my family for a celebratory meal and we were not disappointed. We ordered 5 couscous (with various brochettes: lamb, veal + merguez and meat balls) and 1 tagine. Everything was absolutely excellent and delicious. The restaurant has the unusual approach to serve the semolina directly in your plate but the waiters always go round the place offering a free refill so that doesn't matter. The food is well worth it.Granny found the lamb a little tough. I had the same lamb but found it, on the contrary, nice and tender. But then again granny is 90 years old and has false teeth, so what do you expect! On our next visite to Franconville, we will be sure to go back there.

It's just off the Paris London bike path and well worth a stop. Food was excellent. Had the Moroccan Royal. Carrots and other vegetables over couscous with chicken, lamb, sausage. Finished with mint tea, coffee, and baklava.

My BF and I came here for dinner on a whim since Barock's (across the street) was closed. I am glad we did! If you're feeling hungry and enjoy Moroccan food, this place will do the trick. We shared a "Vegetarian Salad" for an appetizer, and then we each ordered a couscous dish (you can choose from vegetarian or meat options), + red wine. The presentation was nice: you get couscous, chickpeas, raisins, simple veggie stew, and spicy paste, + your meat of choice on skewers - so you can mix and match as you like. Everything was high-quality and delicious! We were so full and we couldn't finish our food - we probably could have done without the salad (which was also quite large)...It felt like we could share our meal with 1-2 more people, and we would have all been satisfied. The restaurant wasn't very busy for a Friday night (might have been because everyone's on vacation for 14th of July weekend), but the servers were friendly and helpful, and it seems that they spoke some English. Anyway, this restaurant is a hidden gem! Come ready to eat!

Their are sadly very few good restaurants in and around Pontoise, the nearest and one of the best is 'La Maison' a Cormeilles en Vexin, so this makes a nice change, as this is in the center of Pontoise This is a real Italian restaurant, with 'la mama' who deals with the customers and very nicely to, she's kind and polite and very helpful, her husband (I think) who's in the kitchen and the waitress, all three are real Italians. All three dishes that we ate were good, all the products were fresh and home made, including the bread, the portions of good, just the right size. You can see and feel the Italian way of life in all of the food, just like being in Sicily, but without the sun By far the best restaurant in Pontoise without spending a fortune, be warned Saturday evening is very busy, you should book in advance

One of the few restaurants in the area open on a Sunday evening, we decided to take some overseas visitors to try some good Moroccan food. The restaurant is recently redecorated and the ambience is pleasant. The menu is quite small but just right, with a good selection of tagines, couscous and plats garnis. The main dishes are copious, so we would suggest choosing a selection of hors d'oeuvres to share OR main dishes (or sharing both). We had 2 tagines and 2 couscous all of which were excellent with the exception of the merguez which were overly fat. Presentation and service were attentive, courteous and relatively rapid.Overall, everyone in the party was pleased with the food. The only let down was the wine list - the Boulaouane gris was totally indifferent. Also, bottled as a "cuvée restauration" it was vastly overpriced for something nondescript and not typically a Boulaouane. However there are Guerroaune and other AOG wines on the list which could be worth trying.

While traveling from Charles De Gaulle Airport to Giverny, we found this lovely restaurant on Main street in Mery sur Oise. Although the parking was challenging our dining experience was amazing. The owner/host spoke English extremely well. She had worked in London for 10 years. She helped us with our gluten and dairy allergic granddaughter selecting a wonderful pasta in ample portions. We all tried something different and no one was disappointed. We plan to return again if our travels take us that way.Dear Sir,Thank you so much for your compliments.I'm so happy to have done my job.Hope to see you another time.Maud et Ignazio
