Reviews on Mediterranean food in Paros, South Aegean, Greece. There are beaches for everyone on Paros—families, partiers, watersports enthusiasts, honeymooners. Anyone can find their perfect stretch of golden sand. The same breeze that rustles orange and pomegranate trees will power your kitesurfing or windsurfing session. In the capital city of Parikia, make sure to pay your respects at the Byzantine "church of 100 doors" (Panagia Ekatontapillani) and visit the seaside ruins of a medieval castle built from the marble remains of an ancient temple.

Classy with excellent food, Safran stands out as one of the best, if not the best, restaurant in Naoussa. The tuna and Cretan pasta are particularly superb dishes. Not enough can be said about the most gracious and kind hostess/manager/owner, Gilda, who welcomes and attends to everyone so warmly. This was our third visit to Safran, and we hope to return again someday.

I stopped by Symposium for a snack, late one afternoon. The garden terrace was full and I didn't want to sit inside but luckily, they had a single table at the top of the stairs that was just waiting for me. I ordered a frappé (good) and their version of a club sandwich, which for some reason, I thought was going to be much smaller. Nope, it was a full-on, proper club sandwich complete with a mountain of chips. I was able to eat half but the kindly waitress happily gave me a bag so that I could pack the rest to go. The club was great and very filling. I really enjoyed this little café and could see myself enjoying daily morning coffees there, if I lived in Parikia!

Amazing, Amazing! We ate here twice in our recent stay in Paros. All we can say is "wow"! I wish Anna would think of running a cooking school or classes as I would definitely go. Don't let all the dishes lined up behind the glass fool you. Each one is literally packed with amazing flavor and love. The first time we went we were really tired and wanted an early dinner and got a variety of things for take away. We were blown away! How a cabbage roll can have so much light delicate flavor is beyond me. The artichokes were stellar, okra also amazing, mushrooms were out of this world. Everything we got was fantastic. I especially recommend getting a variety of the cooked vegetables because they were fantastic. We went again the next evening for a proper dinner. They had live Greek music which was wonderful and made for a fantastic evening. The second floor dining room is half open to the outside, and is very well setup. The large windows that you see from the street on the second level actually are there because you can see the ocean from that second level, which is very nice. Also, the prices are very affordable! Highly recommend and please don't miss this wonderful place to eat.thank you very much for your kind words.....!!!!!!i hope you are coming back to try to try other varieties of our well-cooked foods!!!!!

"Les Amis" bar restaurant .A truly relaxing place with a cozy living room and outdoor balcony to enjoy an early coffee,a drink -coctail or food. A warm and friendly atmosphere combined with mainstream music choices will make it your favorite hangout place
We had a 20 minute walk into town, which gave my wife and I a decent appetite. Just as well...The restaurant is located in a charming lane in an old part of town, near a large number of craft and jewellery shops. Our waiter was charming and we soon had a tasty local white wine in front of us as we considered the menu. My wife liked the look of the sardine bruschetta and the zucchini balls were my entree of choice. My wife ordered the beetroot risotto - and I had no idea! I asked for suggestions, saying my only restriction was that I did not feel like meat - too heavy for the evening. He suggested the spaghetti alla vongole. We were entertained by a dozen playful cats as we waited for the food (and wondered about all the rules that would prevent this from happening in Australia). The meal was truly delicious, from the delicate zucchini puffs (in filo pastry) to the bolder sardines and back again to the subtle pasta and risotto. As we stayed away from the bread at the start of the meal, this was the first time we were able to finish two courses (no space for dessert , but we were given two delicious dessert wines to finish with). Everything about the night was wonderful. The location, the friendly staff and of course, the food. Not cheap (70â¬) by local standards, but far less than we would pay for a special meal in Australia.

Pizza slice is born in Naoussa's alleyways on Paros island by the idea of eating good pizza out of Italy at a fair price.
Very fast service. Either a slice or a whole pizza. Somewhat limited choices eg no seafood pizzas BUT on the flip side very tasty - done in the Italian style with fresh ingredients and very thin bases. Order more than you think you need as very moreish and quite light !

We have very good souvlaki many salands and very good price
Family owned little restaurant with amazing food, everything we tasted was fresh, loved the greek salad, all the home-made spreads, local home wine (red&white) and service was very friendly and welcoming! Both of the owners are waiting, so they ensure guests are happy! They also gave us on the house shots and more wine!Portions are huuuuge and itâs really cheap also.
