After 3 years of visiting Noja, we finally tried this restaurant located just below our apartment. Friendly staff and good food, with just enough frills to make it stand above your average "dish of the day" menu. The place has great views of the beach and the sea below, and has a grill where they cook the meat (everyone knows grilled food tastes better!). The main problem is that the daily menu is the same everyday, so you can't actually go there more than twice or three times a week unless you are ready to spend more money ordering from the general menu. All in all, a good find.

Nothing was bad, but having read all the rave reviews of Amaya Bus, we were a little disappointed. Perhaps we have been spoilt by Cadiz and Donostia, but nothing really excited the taste buds, though the steamed mussels were good, and the portions were amongst the smallest for the price we found in Noja (and much more expensive than in Cádiz in the south of Spain). The children found the pizzas rather unapetising, though I must say that the burgers which we did not order looked quite tempting. It reminds me of seaside cafes in England that try to do a bit of everything. On the plus side the environment and service is very friendy, and the location not too far from the Ris beach. We returned for a drink another day, but did not eat again.

Recommended by friends as well as folks in Noja. It is located outside of town along one of the town's two beaches. Follow the street that runs down from the church. Keep going straight. Probably about 2kms out of town. The restaurant itself is a non-descript cement block building painted a loud blue color, with a terrace. It may not be much to look at but don't let that fool you.We ordered the Parriada de Pescado (for 2) which consisted of 5-6 different kinds of fish grilled over coals. Light salt. It is not vertical cuisine! There is no lemon grass! Just the beautiful flavor of fresh grilled fish. I am not normally a fish person but this was great.I suspect the place gets busy especially in high season so reservations might be recommended, if they take them.

We stopped here for lunch after a morning at the beach. The service was good and food very good too. Great tuna salad and Padron peppers. Would recommend. Short walk along the road from playa de ris.

We went for my birthday and they were very friendly. Food was good but service was very quick.,it was not exactly a leisurely Italian style supper, but with a lot of kids in the restaurant, maybe that what most of their customers want?

Fantastic place to eat. The food was excellent as was the service. There was twelve of us and the restaurant opened especially for us and the staff and owner could not have done any more to improve our eating experience. I would give it five stars

We went to this restaurant on 28 of August 2014. Huevo Trufado appeared to be a liquid egg with topinambur powder on top. Strange concept and not tasty at all. On the second we had a Carrillera Paco - pork cheek with fua gra and a Carne Roha- a steak that was served with sweet hazelnut paste that tasted just like nutella. Fua gra was a bit strange, however both the steak and callillera were good. Happily we were served a wonderful maiz bread, which helped us to cope with the food. Letely we found this bread in the bakery across the road from the restaurant. I would recommend the restaurant chef to focus first on the taste of food avoiding the risky combinations of products.

We visited this rural Spanish restaurant for dinner on 19/08/2014 and as myself, wife and kids were the only English diners at this locals restaurant we initially felt somewhat dubious. However we were quickly proven wrong when we sat down at the table and were made to feel very welcome, the staff could see that we were struggling a little with the language barrier with one lady coming across and making a point of translating each item on the menu and describing the dish in English. The food was phenomenal with delicate flavours and an artisan touch, some of the dishes were on the small side but fitted in with the nouveau cuisine served at this place. Normally we enjoy hearty meals with big portions however we felt it was well worth the sacrifice of portion sizes versus high quality and flavoursome food. The experience was capped off with the optional al fresco dining in the walled garden/restaurant terrace (with an outside wall mounted tv screen) at the front of this property. We would definitely return, ique approveche!
