The location is simple, yet cozy. Tiziana the somelier will make sure everything is ok advising what nowdays is called KM zero food&wine. The chef, Tiziana friend and partner of business, ( I cannot recall her name), prepared a superb risotto alla veneta (or all'isolana) and an excellent risotto asciutto alla matovana. The cotoletta that our kids order was also particularly tender, not oily and very tasteful. Finally our group ordered a big fresh salad with tuna and mozzarella( which was a small super good burratina). We were there for lunch and paid for all including water, coffee, tomatos and potato chips (homemade) abiut 90 euro (for the 4 adult and 3 kids).

Ho partecipato sabato scorso ad una serata "Grigliata di Pesce" a 25 Euro a persona bevande incluse. Valutazione prezzo/qualità ben oltre la sufficenza,ma ho apprezzato di più altre serate "Speciali" tempo addierto,come la Paiella o la Catalana. Non ho ancora sperimentato il menù alla carta....in futuro sicuramente proverò.
Di bello c'è solo l'ingresso appena ristrutturato, spero che il restauro continui perché lo stile è molto datato ed i bagni sono proprio da dimenticare. A parte questo ho mangiato bene! Bistecca di cavallo tenera e saporita che occupava tutto il piatto e contorno misto bollito abbondante. La cameriera che mi ha servito è stata molto carina, sempre sorridente e disponibile. Tornerò ancora per provare altri piatti.

The restaurant "Trattoria L'Artigliere", is in the same grounds as the "Santellone Resort" hotel. Hidden behind an electric gate, it's a quiet haven, and must be sampled if staying nearby.It is by no means a cheap place to eat, but the food was a joy. The chef, Davide Botta, has earned a Michelin Star with the restaurant being classed as "a very good restaurant in it's category", and "serves traditionally prepared hearty seasonal dishes or lighter alternatives" (ViaMichelin guide).I was very impressed with this restaurant, and would recommend it.

Lovely location, the owner is very kind and helpful.The crude antipasti are great, the pasta is extra great. A lot of fantasy and creativity from the kitchen!It is a family business that started as a fisherie, and 17 years ago openned this great place. I highly recomend it.

Went on the recommendation of a local Agriturismo and so glad we did. Plenty of choice on the menu, the tagliata with truffles was absolutely superb. The house wine was a lightly sparkly red, delicious!

Trasferta lavorativa in provincia di Verona. Una calda serata di inizio estate! Il tutto contornato da una cena eccezionale alla Trattoria alla Pesa! Conduzione familiare: fratello e sorella davvero super e papà super Chef â!!! Una cantina da invidia!!! Una materia prima (pesce) super eccezionale. E ovviamente un ambiente accogliente e raffinato. Che voi siate di passaggio o del posto dovete assolutamente pranzare o cenare in questo meraviglioso posticino! Gmam gmam a tutti belli e brutti!

Location immersa nella campagna Veronese, luogo isolato e misterioso...si cena solo a lume di candela sicuramente intimo ma piuttosto buio , tavoli apparecchiati con tovaglie nere e tovaglioli bianchi. Menù fisso composto da vari antipasti , che non mi hanno entusiasmato, risotto alle erbette, così ci viene presentato, ma il gusto predominante era il tartufo, scopriamo che era mantecato con il burro aromatizzato al tartufo, e questo è un particolare che non si può omettere nella descrizione del piatto!!! Carne alla brace, tagliata, salsiccia e un ottimo pollo , contorno di verdure grigliate e frutta, dolci semplici e mediocri, vini in abbinamento appena accettabili. Personale di sala cortese. Prezzo nella media.

Reassured by the reviews of others, we went there for lunch. Unfortunately, we found the visit a disappointing experience not to be repeated. It all started very well with the waiter explaining the dishes in detail and recommending a choice of wines. When the first courses arrived, the food turned out to be pretty average and not what we expected after the glowing descriptions. In addition, the home-cured salmon turned out to be very salty. The second courses didn't do much better: the scallops were overcooked and rubbery, and the steak somewhat grissly. The potatoes to go with the salmon arrived five minutes before the fish which was cold and raw in the middle when it was served at last. After our complaint it was taken back to the kitchen to reappear ten minutes later on a different plate by which time the potatoes were completely cold. At least the fish was cooked properly now. The only thing we got was an apology that this didn't happen very often. In a restaurant that claims to be top class and charges these kinds of prices this should have been handled differently. At least the wine was good.All in all, this was an experience not to be repeated. We have eaten much better and cheaper in a lot of other restaurants.
