This all seafood menu is sumptuous. We began with a selection of tapas - marinated mussels, salmon rillette, shrimps in sesame oil and octopus salad. all were wonderful! After that, we shared a shellfish platter. My husband was in heaven because he loves oysters, mussels and clams. I especially liked the shrimp, but I'm not crazy about shelling them myself...The service was friendly and prompt.

A joy to have an excellent vegan menu in this city of Narbonne, France; a rarity. Tasty, attactive food that is locally sourced. A variety of flavours and superb value for a 3 course evening meal. Staff were friendly and attentive. We got tap water straight away. Good local wine list. They serve meat and fish too so we plan to return with our non vegetarian friends. Have already recommended it to them.

We visited out of season and Narbonne Plage was almost like a ghost town. Fortunate ghosts! EM et G is a great local restaurant in a characterful room at the landward end of the main drag. Atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, food is acceptably good and the organic La Clape that we chose was peppery and delicious. The restaurant deserves to do well so give it a try!Thank you so much for your feedback.

This restaurant will not disappoint you. The menu is innovative and everything we had (which was a good selection between the four of us) was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes. After three years of coming to Narbonne, this is the best restaurant we have found. Don't be put off by the fact that it is a bit out of the town centre, it is really easy to walk there. The staff are friendly and the wine list has quite a few reasonably priced wines.

We ate here whilst on holiday- I say we ate- we had a starter of squid and a children's meal. We had also ordered duck and a seafood platter. We waited for an hour for our main courses and then began to question where they were. After several requests and a further half an hour, my husband cancelled them and asked for the bill. He then requested the bill again, at which point the manager arrived with our main courses. The duck was very dry and covered in a grey gloop and the platter literally look like it had been sat in the kitchen for 90 minutes. My husband told him that we didn't want them. He replied 'Just eat'. He then said 'Do you know how long it takes to prepare this platter?'. Fortunately we've had it many times before at other restaurants and so know it's nothing like an hour and a half. What followed can only be described as an argument with my husband repeatedly requesting a bill for what we had consumed. The manager refused so I ended up getting up with my 4 year old and leaving the restaurant. He then got the message and took the food away but my husband had to request the bill a further 3 times. The waitress used the word 'aggressive' to describe my husband. There were several words he could have used in response. In the end my husband just left money for what he thought we'd had. Beyond shocking.

In a pleasant setting, the Tablao Flamenco restaurant proposes you a Mediterranean cooking with strong iberian accent, with fresh products.
After reading the good reviews, we decided to check this place out. The friendly and helpful owner/waiter, who even spoke some English suggested the paella fruits de la mer with the authentic Valencian rice. It was delicious and it was plenty for two people. Afterwards he also suggested places to visit on our way back to Perpignan. We took his advice and got to see the beautiful landscapes and towns. It was a very good experience and I would advise everyone who visits Narbonne to grab a bite at this place!

If you like fish this tiny restaurant is perfect. We had no booking but fortunately we got a table. The restaurant itself is tiny but the staff were extremely pleasant and charming without being intrusive. They had a fantastic range of fresh fish specials . The soup de poisson was delicious as was the lemon sole. The mussels were perfectly cooked and came with gorgeous fries. There are several great value set menus. Everything is beautiful and fresh and cooked well. Will definitely return but I will book the next time as it is extremely small.

This was an extraordinary meal. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and relaxed, making us feel very much at home. The food was impeccable - exquisite and full of surprises. We had the Convivial option (starter, fish, meat, cheese, pre-dessert, dessert) and every dish was a delight with fantastic attention to detail. Highlights would include the tuna and melon starter, the veal with a smokey cream and sweet crispy wafer, or the monkfish cooked with intense carrot flavours, or the chicken stuffed with foie gras, or the wild almond dessert. Wines were perfectly recommended and surprisingly affordable. It was the little touches which made our evening particularly special: the olive oil suffused with cocoa beans, the delightful amuse-bouche of smoked mackerel and a pretend olive and so on. To cap it all, when we couldnât get a taxi home, the maitre dâ gave us a lift in her car. I would go back tomorrow!
Where to eat Italian food in Narbonne: The Best Restaurants and Bars

The menu in this little Italian spot is limited, but everything is good and is prepared fresh onsite. He has a good selection of Italian wines, which is rare around here. Only problem is trying to figure out when he's open. Sign says Thursday and Friday but it's not always so, and it's hard to make a reservation on the phone if you don't speak either French or Italian. I was lucky enough to find him I the shop one day and I made our reservation in person for the following evening. Go if you can...

Try not to block as you walk up the pedestrianised Rue Droits or you'll miss this little gem of a pasta joint. Seems to be lunchtime only, no reservations, not much seating... but the best pasta and sauces I've tasted outside Italy. It's great to see such a modest place rated so consistly highly... and the accolades are 100â well deserved.
