Best cup of coffee Iâve had in Italy thus far. Creamy and round. Reminds me of the coffee Iâve had in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia. Will be back!

This friendly restaurant and bar is tucked away in a side street of central Riva De Garda. We dined there as a family of four and had a great meal. My daughters shared a Pizza (â¬15), as we were advised that sharing is the way to best enjoy the thick and rich base. I am an avid pizza baker and found the dough (risen over 48-72h) to be very tasty and special. I had the truffle risotto (â¬14) and my wife chose the salmon (â¬15). All dishes tasted incredibly good and cooked to perfection. My wife and i also tried local white wines by the glass, which were wonderful. There is also a range of very interesting local artisan beers available, which are worth a try. All four of us also shared a tasty meat/cheese platter and 2 great Tiramisu. The overall bill came to â¬91, which is about â¬10-15 above average for a family-of-four meal in Riva. But in my view it is absolutely worth the additional money. Service was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Locals stopped by for a drink and it was great to see community appeal of this place. Highly recommended!Dear Pichel3000, we are very proud after your nice Review. Hope to see you and your Family again. Giorgio and staff dei Momenti

We were so happy with the pizza that we actually went back the next evening. Tried different pizzas from the menu and everything was excellent. My husband is very picky about what he would call good pizza and he loved this place. Would highly recommend this place!

We believe that using what the Nature gives us, respecting its times and ways, is the best path to invigorate the traditional cooking, especially that from Trentino. Today, like as never before, we need to go back to the past, to revalue fragrances and fl
This evening my family and I had the most bizarre and unpleasant restaurant experience we can recall. We booked at table at Trattoria Sant'Alessandro having received a recommendation from our Hotel in Riva. Having read the Trip Advisor reviews we were eagerly anticipating an excellent, authentic, dining experience. We arrived at a less than impressive looking establishment but as we've often had some of the finest food in less than glamorous settings, we didn't mind. What we did object to was the reception we received on entering the restaurant. The hotel had booked our table for 8.30pm and we arrived at 8.25pm. Initially we were greeted by a pleasant young woman who seemed to recognise our booking but who then disappeared and began to serve two other people. That was odd, as we weren't entirely sure what was going on but fine and we continued to wait to be seated. We were then met by another less than pleasant woman who greeted us stoney faced and asked if we had a reservation? We confirmed once again that that we did, to which she replied, "You're too late". We stated that we were in fact five minutes early. She gave an exasperate response then snarled "English". We replied "No Irish" although what that had to do with our dinner reservation, I have absolutely no idea. Her response was "Not Italian". At this point we began to feel that our custom clearly wasn't welcome. She then took us to a table and immediately walked off leaving us for the next ten minutes while she served and interacted with other customers around us and we weren't even offered a drink. At this point my father felt that he simply didn't wish to give these people our custom, we called a taxi and left. We felt extremely disappointed and frankly stunned by the experience. We've found the people of Riva Del Garda to be enormously welcoming and hospitable and the dining experiences we've had so far, to be superb. I would love to have written about the quality of the food but alas the truly horrible, rude reception meant that wasn't possible.

The restaurant is closed from November to the middle of march.
Great location for people watching, close to the port.Food was ok, pizza was big, easily shared but service not great for us though everyone else appeared to be receiving great service, mainly German and Italian so that may be why.would not recommended as plenty of other great restaurants close by. We had to ask for water, everyone else had three straight out, not friendly

This elegant restaurant is located in the bow of the ship-like structure pointing towards the lake and features an exclusive candle-lit terrace. This is the place for an intimate dinner of exquisitely rendered haute cuisine, in magical designer surroundin
Really superb food was served to our group for dinner, from the gazpacho appetiser to the flavour-filled risotto entree, followed by the quail main course, finished with a chocolate mousse, all food was cooked to perfection and magnificently presented. Fine wines were provided, plus a dessert wine. Highly recommended.Dear Ian1238,Thank you so much for your kind words regarding our cuisine of Il Re della Busa gourmet restaurant. Al Fortino bike bar&food is the perfect place to enjoy a meal while admiring the beautiful view of Lake Garda on a panoramic terrace. The Chef offer is made by tasty sandwiches, salads, hamburgers and Italian traditional dishes. At Al Fortino you can also
This views are incredible! Itâs not far from the lake but if feels like youâre on top of the mountains! Itâs a fortress and the brickwork reflects this beautifully! The food is good but a tad expensive. Great for a glass of wine and a sandwich. Thereâs even the bike repair shop opposite! Well worth the visit. Dear SunitaS_13,thank you very much for your review. We are really pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. The Al Fortino Web Staff

The restaurant was recommended by Maso Botes hotel owner. So decided to try it on the first evening of staying at Garda lake. And we liked it very much. I had the lake fish, my husband tried veal. Everything was tasty. Service was also very attentive. So we came back there a day after for lunch. Highly recommended. Dear Guest,We are so glad to hear that we were up to your expectations. Thank you so much for choosing our restaurant repeatedly: customer loyalty is certainly one of the great sastisfactions in our job.Itâs a pleasure to read that on your first evening of staying at Lake Garda you enjoyed tasting the lake fish and the other dishes with a wonderful view from the terrace and that you also appreciated our service. We are proud to see that you consider La Terrazza as âhighlyâ recommendable and of course do hope you will have other opportunities to come back some time in the future: weâll be delighted to welcome you again.Looking very much forward to it,Ristorante La Terrazza

Small cozy Italian family restaurant. Specializing in appetizers, main homemade pasta and rice dishes, desserts. Proposals for fresh seafood dishes every day. Seating even outside. Free parking. Free Wifi. OPEN ALL YEAR LONG. Pets are allowed.
This place is a bit off the beaten track, located in a new complex a few minutes walk along the road to Arco, but it's well worth the effort. Excellent pasta & gnocchi. It is quite small so either arrive early or book your table, especially if you're a sizeable group.

Do not miss this agrirestaurant. It is a little difficult do find - it is not exactly on Via Marone but take a little street from roundabout close to via marone and go a little bit up the hill. You will find friendly family running beautiful restaurant with small pension house. There are a few meals on the list but do not hesitate - everything is homemade, top quality. Especially the antipasti mixed meat of the house was remarkable. Prices also very very reasonable (minus 2-4 euro compared to city center).
