It was probably the rain or perhaps a slow Sunday night, but the food was amazing. The service impeccable and they spoke English, understood what exactly was desired from them.Great value for money and and the Prawn Pasta is something to write home about. Highly recommend the same.Dear Vids05, thank you for the excellent review. For us it was a pleasure to read that your experience in our restaurant has left a so nice memory. We hope to see you again! Best wishes, Maurizio e Deborah

You will not find this outstanding restaurant unless you're positively looking for it, as it is tucked away in a back street of a residential area, and it doesn't look much from the outside either. Michelin Award stickers on the door gives you a clue about what you can expect...Inside the décor is OK but unspectacular, but don't be fooled... the food and the wines are spectacular. I ate a beef tartare starter then freshly made spaghetti with a simple "sausage" sauce, and then had the plate of cheeses. This last course deserves special mention... fifteen local cheeses arranged in the order you should eat them, staring with the mildest and ending with a full-on Gorgonzola... all served with Acacia Honey, Onion Jam and Fig Jam... really impressive. The care of selection and simplicity of presentation is what shone through this - and every other part of the meal.Prices are great, main plates at about twenty Euros, wines range from inexpensive to very expensive, and the kind, helpful English-speaking staff will help match what you're eating with what you can afford. You will not regret making the effort to find this outstanding restaurant.

When I go to Italy, I usually eat exceptional food, however this restaurant, chosen by my friends, was the big exception and a big disappointment. Although prices are lower than other restaurants and pizzeria in the area, the food on offer is much worse. I actually shouldn't be surprised, because they most likely use cheap, second-choice ingredients, hence the lower bill.I had a starter, some fried dough balls with sausage, which were ok-ish but nothing extraordinary, and then a pizza, which was the big disappointment. Both the dough and the toppings were bad: I had a little bit and then left it there. The restaurant was almost empty when we went, which is again not a good sign, especially taking into consideration that it was Saturday night, a time when most pizzerias are packed. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are much better pizzerias nearby.

This is one of the best fish place on earth, it's just heaven for who likes fish. But the most unbelievable thing, is that if you get the chance to speak with the owner, he will tell you his story about being from Bergamo (just below the Alps) and being passionate about something that is not in his nature, the sea. All you eat there is absolutely fresh and tasty, so it's strongly recommended to eat lots of raws! Enjoy!

Lunch on a Sunday. The place is very tastefully designed with a lot of little eye-candies here and there. Service is highly professional. The noodles with cacao combined with thin slices of octopus are out of this world. The assortment of crude fish tartar is amazing and top quality. Salad with warm lobster underneath and raviolis stuffed with mushrooms: delicious. The Vanesso (a special breed of beef) and the Patenegra cotelette are almost too much. Great place to enjoy a classy experience. We'll be back for sure.

We ate at this restaurant twice and were not disappointed. I love their "gnocchi al taleggio con tartufo". The food is very good with generous portions, and the service impeccable. They even offered us free chocolate and a delicious limoncello at the end of the meal. It gets pretty busy, so it is best to book a table.I would definitely recommend it.

My husband and I travel a lot and have eaten at many, many restaurants. Ristorante Tradate provided one of the best meals we have ever had. Anna and her sister oversee the management and cooking in this incredible restaurant - you should make your way to Tradate just to eat here! We can't wait to go back!

I went here for lunch and for dinner a lot of times and food is really good and tasty. It is a very comfortable restaurant inside a beautiful country house. Homely cooking based on meat dishes like wild boar, quails, rabbit etc.. The owner is really nice and qualified and all the staff is nice, polite and attentive. There is a lovely intimate little room and it is the perfect place for dinners with friends and for romantic dinners. Really fair price. If you look for the perfect restaurant, you must come here.
