Before going to the osteria we rang to make a booking, just to make sure they were open. We parked in the piazza and walked through an archway and steps to reach the entrance. There was no one around and the restaurant looked very quiet. Luckily this was only the beginning. We had a very good meal, although we thought the bread basket could be improved as only white bread was provided. Antipasto to begin with, followed by grilled french lamb cutlets, grilled vegetables, an excellent nougat semi-freddo and a good bottle of wine. We had a chat with the owner Ivo who told us he is a licenced truffle hunter for all of the Italian territory, and he explained that he changed from restaurant only to also serving pizzas so that more clients would be attracted to the osteria. The ambience is warm and welcoming, with traditional decor. Another good dining address in Ortezzano.

A warm, friendly welcome from a knowledgeable waiter, elegantly presented tables in small private courtyard setting. Well worth the short drive from Castel di Lama to Offida. We chose the taster menu with the wine pairing which was excellent; some new dishes, superbly presented both on the plate and by the staff. Each course and wine described to ensure total enjoyment. A must visit if you are in the area.

People who don't know this region are always astounded by its rugged beauty and rural charm; even more astonishing is to find a world-class restaurant down a "white road" in deepest rural Marche, but that is exactly what Bibioteca is: world-class. The food is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate and whether you eat al fresco or in the intimate diningroom your food will all have been grown within meters of where you sit. The menu, which is published on line changes weekly according to what is ready to harvest and consists of five perfectly-sized courses that leave you feeling satisfied without being over-full. The wine list, all organic, is small but carefully chosen and includes our favorite, Dante, a red wine produced by Cantina dei Monti from Gallioppo grapes specific to this region.

Inside, the stone and brick interior takes you straight back to the 15th century; outside, there's a view of the breathtaking countryside. Even better, the food is a top-notch representation of the area-- simple, delicious cooking with fresh, local ingredients. We love the mixed grill, the fried olives (a local specialty) and one of the best mixed salads in the region. The pizzas are also quite good-- a very thin crust that's markedly different than the usual Neapolitan variety. The wine list features plenty of the best local names, and the host is humorous and friendly. We love to start our visits to Le Marche with dinner at Farfense.

The Osteria Cantina Offida idea of ââcreating a food court where you can taste and enjoy the food and wine traditions of Offida. Located in the main square of the historic town of Offida, Piazza del Popolo, the tavern is the point of sale of all wines pro
One of our best meals in the region. Great service and knowledgeable about the wine. Highly recommended

Had good pizza here. The black pizza looks special and tastes good, too. Mixed crowd: locals ans many tourist families with young children. Service can be a bit slow: why have us wait at the entrance before seating us?Definitely good value for your money.

Ideally, we would live in Ortezzano, so that we could eat here every day.The views are quite simply stunning. The food utterly delicious. We particularly enjoyed the pasta with guanciale, chilli and tomatoes. The pork was mouthwateringly-scrumptious. And the melted chocolate pudding with homemade, delicate mint ice cream was second-to-none.Whilst very friendly, the staff are highly professional, making this an unforgettable supper to be repeated as often as possible.
This place is such a great addition to the area. A local stylish wine bar that also serves delicious food which is homemade by the owners. The dishes are well thought out and offer something slightly different to the usual cuisine in Marche.

I went to I Tre Pini on a Globus tour of Italy. The resturant was seriously the best resturant I have ever been. The Location is beautiful in the Tuscan Hills. Your treated with fragalino, wine or beer, delicous appeatizers, Pasta and Prime rib not to metion the dessert. I'm going back Italy in July 2012 and i will be going back to this resturant for sure.

Typical cooking seasonal old town centre garden restaurant special dish: MARCHIGIANA I.G.P. TAGLIO FIORENTINA
As soon as we stepped in this small restaurant in the heart of town, we were pleased by the general atmosphere, the good smell coming from the kitchen and the warm welcoming of the staff. We tried the spaghettoni Mangiafuoco and the superb amatriciana, followed by deliciuos mushroom and olive all'ascolana. Cantine Pasetti Cerasuolo wine was the perfect choice for our dinner. I noticed that there were no tourists that night...
