We are a small restaurant in the historic center of Gambassi Terme, a small village in the elegant heart of Tuscany. We are one team of young friends and professionals who have taken the desire to bring a breath of novelty. With all humility of newcomers
We spent a week in Gambassi Terme and because of a very pleasant experience on our first visit to Beltempo we returned each day. Menu is fabulous with good authentic Italian dishes but itâs also nice to sit outside on the restaurants patio area with a glass of wine or beer enjoying the ambience of the piazza.Thank youuuuu !!!

Stopped here on our way back to Certaldo. Went for lunch. The small little road might be tougher in the dark, but highly recommend it, as it was one of our best meals in our month in Tuscany.Hi Tom,superthanks for your beautiful comment! We are so proud that our restaurant offered you one of your best meals in Tuscany. We highly appreciate it and hope to see you again when you come back to Tuscany!

Fantastic mouth watering risotto di mare. The grilled seafood with vegetables was also great. Nice service but could have used a refreshing napkin.

We had evening meal as a party of seven from Wales, Florida, California and Canada. Our table was close to the murals on the rear wall which adds character to the lovely vaulted ceiling main restaurant. The food was delicious and we accompanied this with Antico Borgo's own red house wine which was remarkably good quality. There is a good wine list but in our experience the house wine is always a good bet and we were not disappointed. The starter of melted pecorino and truffle was delightful and I chose steak as my main which was cooked to perfection (pink in the middle and wonderfully tender). Home made Tiramasu (with two spoons!) was the perfect end together with complimentary limoncello made by mama! We rounded off the evening with photos of the family and chef...just to keep the memories alive! We'll definitely be back soon!

Understated, Il Caminetto looks (from the outside) like any other local trattoria in a small village in Tuscany. Little did we know when the hotel recommended this place that it would become our local dinner place. Service was lovely, had loads of little details and the atmosphere was lovely, that of a family restaurant, traditional food and great house wine too. We tried their yummy pasta dishes (gnudi and gnocchi were to die for) and their super tender meat (maiale and cotoletta). Highly recommended, worthwhile the drive! And there is a car park just opposite. The desserts were incredible too... best panna cotta we have ever tried, incredible tiramisu and the semifreddo was super tasty too). Thank you Il Caminetto - lovely food and great atmosphere!

The good cheer of the waiter (who literally leaped out to great us) and the folksâ good cheer made this a great place to eat. Wild boar and olive stew was fantastic. Pasta, also. Great meal and nice place to stop. We rode bikes from Selvatelle and couldnât hope for a better place to re-fuel.

Our concierge recommended Casa Masi for a casual lunch during a recent vacation to Tuscany, and we had a terrific meal. The atmosphere is country Tuscany style with a friendly and comfortable ambiance. Our service was exceptional, prompt but relaxed and very helpful. We loved the wine list and sampled a couple of local bottles with an incredibly tasty meal. The Rabbit with Asparagus and Gramigna (pasta) with Pecorino Cheese were both incredible. (I loved the cheese rind bowl!) In fact we enjoyed it so much that we tried to get in for dinner that Friday night, without any luck. I'm sure we will go back the next time we visit Tuscany!!

Luckily I had read the reviews about this place being next to the gas station, and spotted it while leaving Gambassi terme. Had a great fried fish platter and some good wine. Too windy to sit out, but good view from terrace.

Open Wednesday to Saturday dinner only. Sunday and holidays both lunch and dinner. Open every evening in August.
It looks rather like a wedding only venue, but is a fully functioning restaurant. the waiting staff were attentive and helpful, even bringing us dishes to try that they thought we might like. Tip - the fish menu is amazing! Everything was good and made the walk there and back well worth it!

My husband and I visited San Gimignano for the first time and for one night only - this was a perfect restaurant selection... we enjoyed veal appetizer, lasagne, wild boar and traditional vegetable/bread dish ... atmosphere was beautiful and Andre our waiter was very helpful . Unfortunately we were too late to get a table outside but inside was very nice also - local Chianti was excellent - recommend this restaurant !
