We were excited to visit this restaurant having done our research prior to staying in Vico. Keeping this review as succinct as possible, the food itself was good. Not the best meal we had in Italy, but certainly not bad. Iâd give the restaurant a three out of five for food. When we ordered our meal we noted on the menu that this establishment, like many, offers a fixed price menu (starter, main and dessert etc) or a la carte. From memory the fixed price meal we chose was approx â¬45 euro per person. We specifically asked the waitress about this, asked what is and what is not included etc and everything was very clear. When we ordered we again referred to the fixed price offer and ordered our starter, main and dessert. At the end of the meal the waitress handed us our bill and I noted we had been charged the a la carte prices for the individual dishes, far more expensive than the set menu price. Without mentioning a single word, the waitress promptly returned, profusely apologising saying âshe had made a mistake and explained she had incorrectly charged the individual prices rather than the set menu offer.She went away and 5 minutes later, the head chef and owner, Fabianâs Scarica, tapped me on the shoulder and asked me to accompany her to a room at the back of the restaurant near the garden area. Once there she stated she could see no problem with the bill! She then asked me to âmeet her in the middleâ and pay a price in between the a la carte cost and the fixed price. I couldnât believe my ears! I explained that I didnât appreciate her offer and told her Iâd pay the fixed price plus drinks. She reluctantly agreed and the matter was closed.Itâs a great shame that meal ended in this way. I am usually happy to give establishments the benefit of doubt but looking back on this, there really is no excuse for trying to charge more.I would add that we whilst thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Vico and Naples we found the number of times that restaurants and shops âaccidentallyâ over charged us or âaccidentallyâ short changed us, was quite extraordinary. Beyond coincidence maybe?Dear Invictus,Iâm Fabiana, and I remember you and your family at 4th table in my garden on august of this year.I have just a problem... I donât remember what you explain in your text as: I tapped you on shoulder... and other words. So sorry.My english isnât perfect, and maybe there was a misunderstanding. I asked for your attention In private for explain, far from other people, that you had eat as you chose a la carte, but you will pay as fix menu. Now weâre on October, and i was really unhappy to read this review, because that evening my maîtresse was really mortified with you and with me,(Because she take an order a la carte) I Tought that was any problems, and today this bad bad news. (And I think ... it was my fault for my English) I hope you will change your memories about us, And youâll can understand the error at the and of your dinner.So sorry again

Went to this restaurant while staying in Saint Agnello. What a find. Truly Italian serving wholesome rustic food. Pizza starter, followed by mortadella and buffalo mozzarella, spaghetti bolognese, then a selection of fine cheeses. Lovely house red wine and the prosecco is delicious. Nello is an amazing host. He interacted with us and got us kneading and plaiting the mozzarella. He has a sister restaurant on the beach at Piano di Sorrento. I can not recommend this restaurant enough!

Groups are going there to eat pizza, mozzarella and steaks. All seafood is frozen so not fresh. What we had in terms of fried plates and mozzarella were fresh but if you are a fin gourmet, don't expect anything from this restaurant. I guess you are not a fin gurmetOur menu focuses on meat is correctSeafood we don't always have them because when we take them they are fresh... I think you have the wrong restaurantFresh swordfishFresh anchoviesFresh clams and mussels...Frozen are only the codfih and squid... But anyway thanks for the three stars

We loved this restaurant! We were passing before they were open and they opened early for us as we had a baby with us, so lovely. There was no menu, just a few dishes to choose from and they were all delicious. They catered for the vegetarians in the group very well. We had peas, then pasta with beans and pasta with courgette , alongside delicious bread cheese and salad. Very reasonably priced too.

A bit out of the way in Piano but overall worth it. The starters were amazing (stuffed flowers), my main of special fish pasta was a little short on fish but very tasty, good wine selection, very attentive staff

This little restaurant is a bright spot in the town but is otherwise pretty drab. The food is good and very reasonably priced. The service is friendly and very efficient. There were many locals coming in to this restaurant when I was there, a good sign as the people who live here obviously know it is a good place to dine. There is the patisserie next-door that serves gelato at 2 Euros for two scoops. Visit these two places for a tasty yet economical night out in Meta!

While visiting Positano we thoroughly enjoyed a full day excursion with our driver and guide Stanislao Borrello. It was an amazing, beautiful day and we learned so much about the breathtaking Amalfi Coast. Our new friend, Lallo wanted to share with us a local restaurant that he and his family enjoy. As he pulled over, he pointed out that down below is where I would like to take you for a wonderful lunch. The restaurant was located right on the beach. We were introduced to the owner, Antonio who greeted us warmly with a big smile. We very much enjoyed a delicious lunch. To begin, we had the octopus salad, spaghetti with shrimp flavored with lemon and orange. And of course some nice wine. The spaghetti was AMAZING! There was nothing left on our plates. The service and atmosphere made it a perfect day!

Golden beach is a great place to have dinner by the beach! The hostess showed us all the fresh fish of the day and explained what ways each could be prepared. Everything was so fresh! The seafood pasta is amazing. They were very accommodating as we do not speak Italian. The staff was friendly and was there for anything we needed! Would recommend!

My boyfriend and I visited the restaurant on the last day of our holiday on the back of reading the amazing reviews on TA. We booked quite in advance using their Facebook site but there wasnât really any needs as there were plenty of tables available. They were very responsive however, if you do have any questions. The restaurant itself has a large inside area and a lovely courtyard out the back where you can sit in the open amongst lemon trees, running water and lots of other greenery. We chose to sit there, despite the fact it was ridiculous hot. It was a gorgeous setting for what was about to come. Iâm not sure there are enough superlatives for me to describe the food that was on offer. We went for the tasting menu âClose your eyesâ where the chef surprises you with five courses of deliciousness, Iâm assuming dependent on the fresh produce he can get his hands on at the time. Before the courses even began, we had small plates from the chef, breadsticks and fresh bread to snack on. From then on, everything we had was of the highest quality, from ingredients, to the cooking and the presentation. We navigated our way through courses including prawns, anchovies, turbot, chicken, complimented by cheeses, vegetables and fruits prepared in highly technical ways. Dessert too was delicious - peaches, chocolate, cinnamon, cream, and everything else. Portions are generous for a tasting menu, and the five courses will leave you completely full. All for 45euros a head!! We could hardly believe it. Wine was also fabulous, local and cheap. In London, where I live, youâd be looking at over £300 at least for two tasting menus, three glasses of wine and a beer. The value is incredible. And finally, the staff. All of them were a delight, spoke perfect English, polite and helpful, not trying to push you to eat faster/drink more/spend more. They are a credit to the restaurant. All in all, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you are in the area you will not have a better meal in many places. Go!

Wow! Literally the best restaurant in Sorrento, amazing food, perfect service and the real Italian experience. Everything you could hope for and more from a meal out. Make sure you visit this place, if they are full when you arrive, wait for a table you won't regret it
