First time here and was duly impressed by the decor. The menu is very extensive, somewhat overwhelming to say the least. I would suggest cutting back considerably. The waiter was prompt in taking our drink orders. The wine selection, like the food menu, overwhelming. The teeny tiny breadsticks were ridiculously small, with four small saucers of sauces. When the food arrived it was very well plated and a large portion. Our group tried several entrees. All except the grilled lobster and calamari rings were very good! The lobster was beautifully presented with a small salad, but flavorless. The calamari was rubbery and overcooked. Unfortunately my order of mellow rice had a few broken pieces of seafood shells, but I overlooked that, as the flavor and abundance of seafood was very good.Desserts were great but large portions. Of course, the highlight of the evening was the guitarist and flamenco dancers whom were the reason we went in the first place! They only perform on Friday nights at this time (930). The show lasted 1.5 hours!

This place was great! The service and staff was very friendly and attentive. They have great happy hour specials, so I suggest looking them up before heading there. I was skeptical about having pizza in Merida but this was certainly a winner. My favorite was the margherita rosso pizza which is just $150 pesos. Their carajillos (shaken) are some of the best I've ever had.

Firstly this place is dreadful: dark, dingy, dirty and dump. Visiting its toilet was like a horror film and I say no more... Even our table wasn't cleaned at all since there were breadcrumbs everywhere. Dear waiter, do I have to ask you specifically to clean my table? Is it really a strage request to eat on a clean table?Secondly the pizza was atrocious. I am Italian and I have eaten great pizzas all over the world and I can say this was the worst of my life. Avoid at all costs.

It is located at a nice square that has several options of restaurants. We went for lunch and took advantage of the lunch menu that included a drink to choose and a main dish, both for USD. $ 7.00, an excellent value for money. We ordered shrimp enchiladas, which were very good, a portion of four enchiladas with a delicious Yucateco flavor. Also a âpicañaâ tacos with guacamole and black tortilla. I think there were other options with more flavor to choose from. The drink was an orangeade, freshly squeezed. All staff very friendly and attentive.Hello Emile DGreetings from México, we thank you so much for your comment and for taking the time of writing such a positive review of us. A place with a colonial touch, nice enviroment to enjoy the delicious mediterranean food with beverages of your preference!!
After nearly 3 weeks of eating Mexican food we were craving something different and the middle eastern food @ Pita was just what we felt like. Lots of flavours and fresh...the hummus was particularly good as was the lamb dish. Worth noting that they accept credit cards and happily provide takeaway food too. Thanks for your visit!!!!

It is always a challenge when election time rolls around in Yucatan and restaurants are not allowed to serve alcoholic beverages or wines. At Bruno's, the emphasis is always the FOOD! How many places do you know where the chef comes to your table to answer questions about the menu and checks back later to see if you are pleased with what you ordered? Bruno does both! We are never disappointed with the food, the wait staff and the ambiance - NO televisions! A little piece of Paris in Merida...oh yes, we had great virgin margaritas and raspberry lemonade to drink...

We were out for a very nice meal with friends and we were not disappointed. There were a variety of dishes ordered at our table. The cream of carrot soup was fabulous, the asparagus / spinach salad was crisp and fresh, the bread, oil and olives served before dinner made us think we were back in Italy. We all had a variety of pasta dishes. The beef rague (chef speciality) had the beef done in a rich creamy gravy, with home made noodles, it lived up to its advance billing, the seafood pasta was full of flavor. Leave room for dessert, Gelato was great especially the dark chocolate! Overall presentation was well done. A quaint restaurant we will go back to before we leave Mérida.

Needed a late night restaurant and was looking for a good wine list. Late night is fairly easy in Mexico, good wine list...not so much. With that said, Olive Enoteca hit the mark and delivered. Atmosphere was pleasant, service was sufficient if not excellent, and the food itself was outstanding both in quality and variety of choices. This went along with a high quality wine list that included wines from many regions including Italian wines ranging from Vermintino to Nero d' Avalo. Really enjoyed Oliva and highly recommend it.

From the moment you enter the restaurant, it's hard not to be wowed by the surroundings. From an unsuspecting street door to a well decorated courtyard oasis.Whether you're a meat eater or a vegan, I would be surprised if you didn't find the food delicious. In fact, in my 2 week trip to Mexico, the meal I had here was undoubtedly my favourite. We went on an Italian themed night, and had a lime soup, lasagne and then a chocolate coconut mousse. The meal was tasty and the portions were of ample size. We didn't leave hungry! The staff were friendly, helpful, and informative about the food. The tables are located outside, so depending on the weather you may need to bring a light jacket in the evening. If I return to Merida, I will certainly make a reservation to go back!
