Discover Restaurants offering the best Mediterranean food in Menorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. As the first place in Spain to see the sunrise, Minorca is like the country’s ambassador to the morning. Beaches here are beautiful and, surprisingly, relatively empty. The jewel-colored water is a magnet for waterskiers, windsurfers and sailors. Playa De Binigaus beach is perfect for families, while Cala Mitjana is an idyllic spot for romance. Head to the town of Alaoir to nibble on some fresh local cheese or turn back time in the charming fishing village of Fornells.

Excellent service and food with an interesting menu and a good value set menu. In season book to avoid disappointment. No Seaview but in a pretty pedestrian street. Much favoured by local people too. Lunch here is a great way to spend a sunny afternoon.

New informal restaurant where you can taste a fresh food and market all absolutely homemade
I don't often write reviews but this restaurant was so good it needed one. The best food we have had in Menorca. We went for the set menu. It was all so perfectly cooked and presented. Absolutely delicious. The waitress was also so friendly, and helped us to practice our Spanish. She was very patient with us! Muchos gracias! Can't recommend enough!

Have been to Menorca scores of times but never to this magical place. Set in the most atmospheric surroundings you could ever imagine there is an aura of peace and tranquility surrounding the dining area and it would be impossible to think of a more relaxing place in which to dine and totally `unwind`.The food is good with a wide enough choice to suit most palates, a good selection of wines available and the staff are superb, being helpful, friendly and charming at all times.Set in the hills a few miles out of Mercadal this is one of those special places that travelers encounter very rarely and if afforded the chance please try this wonderful establishment.

Restaurante de comida Mexicana, Mediterranea y fusion, 100% casera. 100% homemade Mexican, Mediterranean and fusion food restaurant.
Thank you Chef David and your team for making us feel so very welcome on both occasions we ate here. The menu has some interesting options - Mexican but with a Mediterranean influence. Each dish we tried was fresh and flavourful, generously portioned and served in a timely manner. We tried 6 different dishes in all and loved all of them. 2 dishes in particular we ordered again the second time around - the Mexican salad and the chicken enchiladas, were just so delicious! I also want to make mention of the excellent service. The wait staff were all really friendly and attentive and Chef David on both occasions came out and personally talked to the guests at each table to make sure everyone was happy. He really seems to love his work and it shows in his cooking!! Thank you again for the great food and experience.

The Nelsons Gastropub is a friendly international restaurant that specialises in very high quality Seafood fantastic wines and beers. If you require a table to dine please make a reservation to avoid disapointment.
We have visited this restaurant many times over the years, several with the new owner. There was little atmosphere almost a strange atmosphere when we visited this time. We ordered Mussels to share for a starter as there was only one portion left. Mains were a seafood pasta which seemed to be the same sauce as the mussels and the prawns in it we not peeled , so a messy business getting the shells off. The second dish was scampi and chips which was fine . We asked for bread as the sauce was nice and needed mopping up, but were told we donât serve bread of any kind, strange? The chocolate mousse to finish was very nice . We went to pay and was asked to pay in cash as the machine wasnât working following a storm a couple of nights ago., again strange as we had been on the island on that day and hadnât experienced any âstormâ luckily we had enough cash with us otherwise not sure what we would of done , except the washing up! All in all it was ok but we would rush backAs the atmosphere and food wasnât up to the previous standard. When you visit a restaurant in Menorca you cannot expect it to be busy or have atmosphere until it starts to fill up around 9ish. From my account of your visit you turned up just as we were opening up at 7.00. In the last two years Nelsons has massively changed its cuisine from English pub grub to very high level fine fish dishes. Which has been so successful because of the lack of British populous on the island and increase of locals, French, & other European nations. It's quite obvious to me that you both have very English old fashioned pallets that would be better of eating in cafeteria. My chef prepares each sauce individually and fresh for each dish, so it impossible for one to taste the same as another. They simply have different ingredients. We also buy from our supplier fresh fish everyday. So when we run out of a certain fish we cannot serve anymore until the next day. This is common practice for fresh produce. Obviously!Bread is always available in the restaurant so i do not understand this synario. The amusing thing about your statement is that you gave complement to our basic kids food (scampi & chips) and you moaned about peeling a fresh tiger shrimp on a fantastic seafood fettuccine pasta dish. Please do not rush back as you are not the type of guests we wish to have in our restaurant Kind regardsMark

Such a beautiful place to stop for a TASTY lunch! I had the vegan burger and my partner the lentil bowl. Both were fantastic and freshly made. With it i had a wonderful Iced tea and banana bread. OHHHH MYYYY was it super tasty. I even ordered an iced tea to go because i was in love that much. As well as a vegan brownie, which didn't last long, as soon as i got back to the hotel it was gone. My partner remarked that the coffee was good as is the pear tart. Worth a visit even if you are not vegan or veggie. LOVE LOVE LOVE wish we had one in the UK because i would just give them my bank account.Thank you so much for your nice review!! So happy to read that our place pleased you and the food too ;-) Hope to see you again in Piqniq Menorca!

A lovely family run restaurant, very welcoming and accommodating. Food all home cooked by "Mum", and excellent quality, adapted to any personal requests, Dad and son serving- both very friendly and good fun. Visited regularly during our stay, always a great time. Fully deserves it's #1 rating as best local restaurant. Andres - add "Ay up me duck" to your "absolutely spiffing" phrase book. Thanks for looking after us. Loved the cherry liquor!!

..a terrace in front of the sea where you can taste the flavors of the Italian tradition .... pizza, fresh pasta, fish specialties, panzerotti await you at Ciao Belli ... the first authentic Italian of the island
Went here a few times on our holiday for lunch as the food is fantastic! Traditional Italian doing rustic pizzas and amazing homemade pasta. Great location on the beach and really friendly staff who were very accommodating for our little boy. Reasonably priced highly recommended.

An excellent value for money experience. We enjoyed meeting other couples and families in the beautiful and sparkling clean Cuk-Cuk kitchen. Everything was thoroughly prepared and extremely well organised with high attention to safety. As a group, we were asked which language we would prefer to be used for the cooking instructions. These were delivered clearly and understood by all. As we got on with the preparations, there was a wonderful buzz of the various languages as everyone enjoyed the cooking experience. We were served our dish sitting together in the intimate patio of the wonderful Menorcan house which is home to Elena and Alejandro, Cuk-Cukâs owners. We purchased a solid and well priced paella dish from Cuk-Cuk and have since made a very successful paella from the recipe supplied. After the meal, we strolled into Cuitadella with one of the other couples. Good food, great learning experience and a wonderful way to meet others. Many thanks Elena and Alejandro!

We had one meal here and that was during the evening. During the early hours of the following morning my partner was very ill with symptoms pointing to food poisoning. Now I cannot say with 100% certainty that the illness was directly caused by the meal but ......... I will leave you to draw your own conclusions. My partner had a fish dish and said, whilst she was eating it, that she thought it was very nice. Again, I will let you draw your own conclusions.
