Small Pizzeria in St. Moritz downtown.
We googled restaurants that locals favor and this one popped up just down the road from our hotel. We were craving pizza anyway and they didn't disappoint. The pizza and salad were amazing!!! Funnilly enough - there were more Americans (like us) than locals eating here that night.

In St Moritz Bad the vast majority of restaurants are linked with hotels and so to find an 'independent' restaurant took a little work. The ambiance of the place is quite strange as to the left as you enter the door is a public bar, with TV and raucous atmosphere. To the right is the main restaurant and bu good interior design the noise does not infiltrate.During the day, there are also tables outside and the menu is actually very reasonably priced and the food on offer is good fayre for a lunch. The evening menu is a little more substantial and the prices do reflect this. My wifes Petto di pollo (chicken pasta) was CHF 24 and my Ribeye Steak was CHF 39. Add a couple of soft drinks and a shared apfelstrudel and our bill came to CHF 88.50.Bit steeper than expected but it was a good night - the food was well prepared and plentiful (although my fries were very similar to those you get at McDonanlds) and for the price I would have preferred hand cut or proper chips as they did tend to ping off the plate when stabbed. The place is very dimly lit and reading the menu was quite a challenge although it did make the mood romantic and the wood carvings which decorate the place are rather interesting. It wasn't too busy on the night and the waiter service was efficient and unobtrusive and so that worked well. The prices paid were in keeping with the rest of the town and so all in all I would recommend this place for a nice quiet romantic meal.

This was our 2nd visit to St Moritz, just to avail the two expresses- the Glacier and the Bernina. We were dead tired after the Bernina, more so by the weather. So decided to check this one out, since we were staying in the same hotel. The wood-fired Pizzas were just awesome- way above the one we just had back in Italy the same afternoon! Who knows whether we come back again to St Moritz, but if yes, we would be back here, for sure.

We dinned at this beautiful restaurant based on recommendation given by my hotel at Lake Como. We drove an hour to reach this well located restaurant, and were served by Joanna. The food we tried here was awesome, and the staff was friendly only until the time we got our bill. This restaurant is frequented by locals, and they don't have many tourists as guests, which is a good thing as you get authentic food, but on the other side they took tourist for a ride with their bill. The prices in the menu were different from what they charged us in the bill. Example Pizzoccheri was priced at â¬14 in menu but was charged at â¬20 in the bill and Rissoto was priced at â¬18 in the menu but was charged to us at â¬24. We asked what was their soup of the day, and we were told it was Mushroom soup, though a very beautiful soup, since the prices were not in the Menu for the soup, we assumed it would be priced similar to other appetizers in the menu. We were shocked to see â¬30 for a soup in the invoice.I would say the food was very good. Given that its a very nice restaurant, good food, we won't have minded paying the prices they charged, but to be fair you cannot charge more than what you put out in your Menu card. I did try asking Joanna about the Soup, and she said its because the mushrooms are high quality and hence the cost. For other items I didn't realise till the time I returned home and compared the prices in the bill with the prices on the menu published online on their website. It was really shocking for us to see a restaurant with such great reputation would act so low.
Opened not too long ago in the heart of the ânew traffic free Silvaplanaâ. Cozy location with small sun terrace. Very friendly owner and staff. As for the food, you have to find out by yourselves. The feedback I got from guests, was positive.

We came here jet-lagged and exhausted, and this place turned our mood right around! Simple but cozy and elegant decor, friendly and polished service, and delicious food. Highlights were the salad (!) and beef tartare. Not cheap but I donât think anything in this town is!
