Typical Portuguese food, made from the finest country produce with no frills. Real food from our grandma recipe book, made with passion. It can't get more authentic than sitting in our rustic dining room and be treated with the warmth of the Portuguese ho

A specialrestaurant, From a bandstand (Coreto in Portuguese) was born a restaurant specializing in meat, where it cuts, mature and sells top quality meat. The Coreto is in the beautiful Quinta da Boa Vista, where there is an extensive Leisure Park with un
The restaurant is quite small but well decorated and in the middle of a small park. Usually it's quite crowded, especially on week-end: best to get a reservation...The restaurant is basically a steakhouse- you might find very limited options for other types of food (I recall1 veggie dish and a tuna dish for fish). This is the kingdom of matured beef- several options for difference price ranges but with a very nice quality. You may also find regular beef as well. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. You can ask to visit the cave where the beef are being stored. If you are into matured beef, this is a must do!Few options for dessert- chocolate cake is great!Don´t leave before asking for an expresso coffee...quite tasty!Great wine cave with mostly portugues wines. It's not cheap, but you definetly pay for what you are getting!Obrigado pelas suas palavras!Thank you!

Portuguese typical restaurant 5 minutes from the airport! It reminds you of the Portuguese restaurants 25 years back, with home made food! We tried the roasted meat with potatoes, rice and vegetables! Highly recommend if you feel like a genuine traditional Portuguese food taste!!

The O Forno was the first place we dined when arriving in Portugal, and what a fantastic experience it was, the menu was full of choices and the people extremely nice. I wish I'd got the name of the lady that greeted me, she was so every happy to see us, I don't think they get many tourist, it's a true local place, but well worth finding if your a tourist.

We were hanging around the airport waiting for our early morning flight and found this delightful little restaurant. The owner was wonderful and took pleasure in having some Texans visit his place. Lunch was a set menu of three choices; chicken wrapped in bacon, codfish pancakes, and a vegetarian dish that didnât interest us. It came with soup, bread, a rice and tomato dish and drinks for 8.5 Euros apiece. The food was good local fair cooked by his wife and the atmosphere was perfect for our last meal in Portugal.
